- Wave Equation | Waves | Physics | FuseSchool
Waves have a frequency (the number of complete waves passing a point every second and measured in Hertz), wavelength (the distance between two consecutive points on a wave) and amplitude - the distance of maximum displacement (both can range from a thousandth of a mm to hundreds of metres).
Which we looked at in this video.

These videos are the reason I understand physics and chemistry better. Thank you so much!
You are most welcome! Happy to hear that!
At 1:09 how does 4X3 = 1 then later at 1:26 it says 10x4=40. How does this make sense?
Ofcourse its easy, until they put the exam paper infront of you that is🙄
Wow your videos are insane they're not super fast paced 3 min videos with crammed in information but it's very understandable THESE VIDEOS ARE THE BEST
Thanks for your time, examples, and practice problems! How excatly is this formula derived? I thnk it is from the d = rt formula.
Your channel is such an inspiration. Another great video. Thanks FuseSchool
Thank you too! Appreciate that! ❤️
I subscribed and liked! I love this channel SO MUCH. Thank you so much :)
Amazing! Thank you 🤗
Tysm
It help me alot!
Please make avideo on how wave transfer energy
Thanks for ur time and I love this
U have reduce my stress
I'm so glad to hear!
Please also make a video on Phase and Phase difference of a Wave
thanks for your help these videos literally deserve a million of likes
Thanks you so much 💜
The wave equation is a second order partial differential equation in time and space, that mathematically explains why waves excist in the first place. So better use another title. This video is about the relation between the quantities wavelength, frequency and wave velocity.
At 1:08 in the first calculation you have made an error. The solution says the answer is 1cm/s, but it should be 12cm/s, because 4Hzx3cm=12cm/s, those are the values you gave/the formula you follow for speed throughout the rest of the video.
Hi there! You are absolutely right, we've missed the '2' in '12'. Thanks for noticing!
That drove me nuts, spent like 5 minutes to realise it might be an error. It must commented on video or must re-upload this video

No need
Very underrated!
Sir please can I get to know is there any premium content of fuse school course
Hi there! Please, can you provide more detail about what content you are looking for specifically?
@@fuseschool Sir I am looking for high school maths content
Unfortunately, we haven't started working on high school content. But we may do in the future. Sorry about that!
oh I thought this was gonna be Schrodinger's wave equation lol
thank you for the finger trick
No worries!
Hey I am great fan of this channel.
Pls make a video on nomenclarure of organic compounds
Thank you ❤️ Please check out our organic chemistry playlist, you may find what you are looking for there: czcams.com/play/PLW0gavSzhMlQ6-7yyDNHeRvDMPUQmuvL2.html
Plz can you make a video for motion in physics?
However thanks for all the videos I always search for you if something I don't understand
That is so great to hear!
Please, check our Forces and Motion playlist: czcams.com/play/PLW0gavSzhMlRQAtDfN96y055MnChEgin-.html
Perhaps you'll find what you are looking for there.
@@fuseschool thx I found it
Great! 🙌
4 times 3 is 1? Am I missing something?
I'm scratching my head over that one too.
~ Hi ~
