Great video, I wouldn't have thought about attempting this without watching this first, I would have just bought a new one. This is going to be quite a project, I suck at this kind of stuff, guessing it will take me three hours with some hiccups along the way. I need a cigarette now! 🚬🚬🚬
It's not that hard just do step by step with the video just keep it in pause after you take a piece off

I use tri-flow so it doesn't. Go up. So I sprayed down with. Triflow and then I take my blower and blow it all dry. And it works beautifully.

The grease I use I got at Walmart it's just all purpose grease it's the cheapest one on the shelf in automotive

🤣 you should see how many parts vcr player machines don't need to work.I have taken many apart and each time have like 20 little things left but machine works great after.
JUST WHAT I NEEDED! Got an older one that is twisted. Two corners touch, then wobbles. It will work. But the throw and piston is very hard. The cutter works, should I try to twist it back to level? A response will be highly appreciated.
I would only try to bend it back if you get it soft with a propane torch first so the metal doesn't snap
It's weird your uncles favorite tool was a crescent wrench and NOT a vice grips. Vice grips are so much better lol
my main problem is it will not hold the cigarette tube I've tried the spring fix and it's not working for me
Wrap some electrical tape underneath the rubber and then Force the rubber down so the rubber is fatter
@@RayFixesAll I squeezed it with some pliers and heated it with a cigarette lighter and it works now

No offense to people who use WD40 as a penetrating oil, but it is not. It's only temporary as it evaporates quickly. Bonafide penetrating oil like Liquid Wrench or PB Blaster work much better as they don't evaporate. Would you drink oil? Of course not, but you CAN drink WD40, and it won't hurt you. I haven't tried though. I use penetrating oil daily in my business. BTW, sweet PJs!
Everyone knows PB blaster is the best. Do the Styrofoam test if people wanna keep using wd40. Spray the same amount on 2 different pieces of foam. See the results the next day. PB will penetrate all the way through.
How often would you need to sharpen the blades that cuts up tobacco? Bc in order for me to not have gapping problem in the cig tube I have to work the handle several times to cut/compact the tobacco.
I never sharpen that I sharpen the serrated poker points
@@RayFixesAll what do you use to sharpen the serrated points? I’m guessing you mean the points on the piece that shoots out the side of the T2?
Might be a spreading problem, what I've done with mine is I take the plate off of it and use the short tubes usually compacts them well, If I get a clog it's usually towards the end of the cigarette and not by the filter I find that the plate really messes things up for me.

What's a good grease to use?
I use any kind of automotive Grease basically anything you can get at Walmart for cheap cheaper the better I guess just don't use oil cuz it'll drip all over the place
Keep in mind you have to do this roughly once a year to keep it running good

dry WD 40 and yes you can get DRY WD40 in a can
Mine works very smooth but after I load it with tobacco it doesn't want to go. it's very hard like it's over packed, but it's under packed. have any idea what could be causing that. I've had an electric machine for the last three yrs but the motor gave out. I had bought the Top 2 a few months before I bought my electric machine. It really wasn't used that much. I know how to take care of them because I used to own the original topomatic and it lasted 5 yrs with my wife and I both using it. This newer top 2 has been problematic since I bought it. again, empty its smooth with no drag, but as soon as it's loaded, I get about half into the crank and it feels like its over loaded and becomes a real bitch to complete the crank. I hope you can offer me some advice. Peace..
If it's the silver one I had problem with mine day one I through it out and got the one in video
@@RayFixesAll they were selling the silver one's side by side with the one I got. it's never worked right. I just bit the bullet and broke down and bought another electric machine. it's running great too. I'm so happy to get my smokes rolled. I ended up buying a short red Marlboro pack today to hold me over. They cost me $8.00..Natural spirits were $9.19 It's just fucking nuts how much they're charging for smokes that aren't half as good as my homemade smokes. I'm sure you get that though. why not go ahead and get some Dawn dishwashing liquid and go ahead and wash it out with hot water in the sink while you have it disassembled just cleaning and reassembling fixed mine but I went ahead and greased it and it works better than you now
Hi Ray. Is there ANYWAY that the cutting blade can be sharpened on these darn rolling machines 🤔?? We roll butts for 2 of us everyday and these darn things keep wearing out in 6 to 8 Months only. Were spending almost $ 100 on these darn things! It's so frustrating! I don't feel we should have to keep buying a new one twice a year. Please help! 😀 thanks
Yes if you remove it and file the blade with a metal file make sure not to do to much and keep file on a 45 deg angle
