Honestly buying the Bose Sleepbuds saved my life, I became depressed due to noisy neighbours and decided to go all in on a pair, since then I’ve slept amazingly, words can’t describe how effective they are against noise
"If only they could turn off the noises inside your head while you're trying to go to sleep" that would be amazing for someone like me that has anxiety and can't sleep because of my mind racing ALL NIGHT!!!
marijuana
Metanoia That's a hit or miss for me. Sometimes it gives me anxiety and sometimes it just make feel better.
sexntuna Yea same here, feels like I'm going crazy sometimes.
Try ASMR CZcams videos. (Make sure to use ear buds)
Jerk off and it will relax you
I use earplugs, beats by dre and then play 10 hour brown noise at the same time and it literally blocks any sound for me. I just have trouble with vibration like doors closing or heavy footsteps but it has helped me tremendously. I feel more energized my anxiety lowered and i felt normal again. I highly recommend you trying this method
Hi @JayT can you explain? You use these or foam earplugs, and then a white noise nachine at the same time?
@@Jaya1515 step 1. Put earplugs in like the ones you use for monster truck shows or construction. 2. Put on noise canceling headphones (beats) or ones that cover your whole ears, step 3. Go on youtube and play brownnoise. If you’re a side sleeper this might be uncomfortable. they also sell noise canceling headphones specifically for sleep, you can look into that, this is the poor mans option but it works for me! Hope u feel better!
Thank you so much! Glad it works for you, i have noise cancelling headphones, but cant sleep with them, was already looking for headbands with earphones in it. Now i use foam earplugs and a Lectrofan white noise machine together when the noise is bad. But go try your suggestion. Thanks again for replying! @JayT
First off, they take a little getting used to. The first night getting the sound right was a challenge and it kind of kept me awake. So for the second two nights I took a sleeping pill too. By the third night no sleeping pill and my ears/brain had learned this was "good sound", and my partner's loud snoring is no longer a problem for me (or him as I no longer have to shove him multiple times in the night). Also don't think you have to make the sound too loud - it seems to get louder after a few minutes settling in. I'll also say that they are WAY MORE comfortable than foam ear plugs. So my advice is to be patient the first few days and maybe take a sleep aid for a couple of nights to help you become accustomed to the sound and feel. I love mine now.
Ahhhh perfect sleep through the fire alarm and get to sleep forever.
Either that or being all day tired, each day a bit more because you don't sleep enough 😂
Stress on the word _forever_
My upstairs neighbors sound like they’re playing basketball
First I must mention he has them in wrong (3:37) I have them and they actually work. Another great feature is that your alarm actually rings in your ear so your less likely to sleep through your alarm, even if your phone dies your alarm will still go off. They are pricey but they do work. I use the tranquility sound.
Vaughn Hanley are they capable of playing music and videos or only sleep noises?
Only sleep noises sadly, apparently they don't have the type of Bluetooth connectivity that is required for them to play music. They are pricey but in my opinion I like them. You can actually try them out for a few nights and if you don't like them you can always bring them back to the store.
Everywhere I can see the person is wearing them correctly.
Clint Carlson he’s wearing them on the outside of the ear the tip of the cushion is supposed to tuck underneath if you look at 1:27 and 2:32 you’ll see
@@h27764 It does tuck underneath. He should have tried the larger size, but he's not wearing them wrong.
If these worked with music as well, I’d buy them
I've been using noise isolating earbuds to sleep for upwards of a decade now. Usually I have brown noise playing in the background. My major issue has always been having to be wired in. Shure earbuds were great, in that they provided a low profile and durable headphone. The wire needs changing every few years but at least that's something you can do with them. One big issue though, you need to be plugged into a device while you're sleeping and the wire can lead to tangling in your sleep.
That's why I got them. They are super soft, have an ultra low profile, and have very comfortable fit. The case will charge them for you and has its own battery as well. 16hours of runtime - awesome.
Does it have the brown noise I'm used to, not quite. I'd say "warm" is pretty close and suitable. I also fall asleep on planes like a baby and that noise is also provided.
If you sleep with any sort of noise machine, try these guys, I'm quite pleased.
$250 for the bose airpod without music function?I do hope remove the Bluetooth but add on the noise cancelling likely a tiny qc20 for sleep
sleepbuds not AirPods
If these could play music too and have a feature to listen to youtube (i like to listen to podcasts when i sleep) then i would buy these now
Can these be compared to the Apple AirPods?
A snore test? Do a real test like Hispanic neighbors partying all night please and then tell me how well they work
I love the Bose quietcontrol 20. They cancel noise and listen to music.
Dear Bose please allow for music playback on this device and replace the wireless earbuds you currently make
The just can't, the bluetooth technologie they use is a very( very ) low power bluetooth and the bandwidth is miniscule
BIGGEST problem with the buds is you hear the loop points .. that’s a fatal flaw in the sound design of the product and once you hear that join its impossible to ignore it. I think Bose could have done a way better job on this. There are small companies selling apps online that do an amazing job with their sound production for sleep and relaxation and with Bose it just feels they made no real effort to get this crucial part right.
Just put a fan in your room
you can't put a fan in your ear when you have tinnitus
Literally one of tips when you have tinnitus is to have a fan
Paulchief I have severe tinnitus and my white noise generating fan does actually help, quite a bit.
we've had a A/C unit in our bedroom since about June.. it is on constantly even when the compressor is not going and the other night we didn't need it... I could not sleep with out the nice white noise of he fan. i started to have anxiety and i asked my wife if it was ok to put the fan back on so i could sleep.. now looking for a white noise generator for my bedroom.
Duncan, I use an electric fan. It serves the purpose for me, all through the winter months.
In had to return mine. I needed the money after losing my job for being late every morning. It's not my fault, I didn't hear my alarm.
I use Philip Hue to simulate morning light and it's great
@@badboi888 lol well since I go to bed when the sun comes up on weekends that won't wake me, I know cos I have aLifx bulb in the bedroom. It's helps after the alarm has woken me but won't do it by itself.
With the Bose app it as an alarm sound so that's strange
@@AdamB83 He was trying to be funny (not many people noticed).
Not many people as in two people out of the 70 people that gave it a thumbs up? @@alquimista1977
I just open Netflix in the background running a whole season of friends
Some people like you have no friends and need the cast of Friends to make you feel like you have FRIENDS. But I also do the same so no hard feelings, my friend.
Yes Bose, these are very expensive passive ear-butts, I use silicon forming ear-butts (10$ for 4 pairs) which are the best and I used many passive and active noise cancellation ear-butts. So without active noise cancellation the silicon cheap once are the best (complete isolation due to form ability).
Have you tried the Bose? They are literally life changing. I couldn’t describe how good they actually are
I am not satisfied with SleepBuds. After reading a lot about the SleepBuds online and watching a lot of review videos, I was convinced to give it a try. The problem is I had to purchase the SleepBuds online because there is no official store of Bose in my area. Though Bose offers a trial period for using the SleepBuds without the need to pay the full price when I purchased the SleepBuds, this offer was not available on the online store of Bose. Now that I am not satisfied with using the Bose SleepBuds, they are just lying around and I don't know what to do with them. They are in an absolute fresh condition just like new. Guys, please suggest what should I do as Bose is not ready to take them back and return my money and I am not able to find suitable buyers near me as it is quite a niche product!
I use the purple minus 33db hearing plugs and I don't hear anything except my own tinnitus. They work awesome. If you travel you should definitely bring some because you might end up in a noisy hotel room. I can still hear my phone alarm when it us nearby which is important.
Earpluggs are stuff of nightmares for me with tinnitus, i guess we handle it different and have different sounds, i hear two different kinds of sounds and i might try this, the sound of a sparking fire would probably do it since i sleep well in my summerhouse and if it's not hot summer weather there is a fire going.
Don't you get annoyed hearing your tinnitus all night? I can't sleep at all listening to my tinnitus, I have to put on soothing music to help me sleep.
0:54 that's the sound I play to mask my partner's snoring.
Stinks that these are only limited to a few tracks. I would absolutely love to have these if I could play music I downloaded onto my phone.
Hola, sabeis cuando los sacaran de nuevo al mercado, garcias?
thank you for your review!
Bought this and returned it after 2 weeks. The sleep buds are way too hard to sleep with comfortably. Just use an app (on your phone) to mask the noise. Works better.
wonder help with tinnitis?
We can't even stop using tech in our sleep 😂😂😂😂😂
Too true, but I've been using headphones too sleep ever since I was about 10-11 years old. That's about 20 years now.
is the noise canceling as good as the noise canceling on Bose QC35?
I mean it better be with that price tag.
Also does it fall off easily?
It's interesting that they bought out an entire company out on Kickstarter for these. Honestly though, my regular earbuds work for white noise or the cheap foam ones can silence just about anything.
Everyone who's saying "just buy earplugs" obviously doesn't have tinnitus. Also, try taking a fan with you when you're travelling for work or a holiday.
Oddly, tinnitus is white noise to me
its a dam curse chris mate:{
Ear plugs don't work. Never try a simple solution from a simpleton.
Yea I wouldn't be watching this video if ear plugs worked.
The noise cancelling for 8 hours takes its toll. I've been using the sleepbuds for 8 nights...I have slept SO much better. Expensive? Sure. Worth it for great sleep? Absolutely. I use the "showers" sound, which sounds like rain. My wife says I have not moved in my sleep, which helps her as well. You have 30 days to try them, so why not? No problem sleeping on my side. Plus, it has an alarm feature that will not wake your partner. I recommend them after 8 nights of use.
How is it now?
@@Artorias70 More than a month of using these and I'm hooked! Took them on a trip to Chicago and used them in the hotel...slept incredibly well!
Is it possible to make same product but with anti noise feature. I don’t want to listen to nature sounds or smth
Can we use this to listen to songs as with other wireless headphones.
All you need is a fan. Plus what happens if there is a fire? Seems like these would delay the response by blocking your ears.
just buy custom moulded high-density low profile set of earplugs and you can sleep without a single noise, if you dont like the idea of it playing sounds
Can you please guide me how to switch them off ?
If u took the shirt off while sleeping, that would work.😂😂😂
Thank you for info
Only Noise masking for $250? Could you just play a similar track & use the Samsung iconx, while getting a pair wireless headphones to boot?
cheap earplugs and white noise from loud fan or from PC Speaker is enough.
tiramisu you can sleep with white noise? That actually work on people? I never am able to sleep with white noise. I end up either turning it off or listen to instrumental music
i do have real white noise from loud fan.
yes it might be annoying for some people if it comes from PC (fake white noise). but if it comes from real device that you use everyday, your brain just kinda accept it.
loud fan combine with earplugs could mask that irregular noise from outside such as people talking or random noise from neighborhood.
tiramisu okay thanks... Unfortunately (or fortunately?) My Aircon is already cold enough that i need to use a thick blanket to keep myself warm. No white fans for me
@@kenny-zc9ti what a waste of electricity.
Fantasytky the temp is either too cold or too hot for me, no middle grounds
I loved these when I had them but there's a reason they are getting recalled. Faulty battery. Mine lasted a month. And don't expect to be able to return them in store. It took me 2 MONTHS to get my money back. And they said expect 4-6 weeks normally but they messed up on sending me my money back. OH and the money will be a cheque, when they remember to send you said cheque.
I mean... I used earplugs, or I tried. But I hate it so much it goes into your ear canals. Now the bose sleepbuds don’t do that, right? It is different, so working up from earplugs to them... hmm
These will keep the bugs out of my ears while I sleep 🙃
I use Bose wireless EarPods and playing white noise to cancelling out noise, but they r too big.
Do they emit radiation? Just asking?
D. Blue are you a actually that stupid, of course they radiate. But not in a harmful way. Sound waves are NOT harmful.
Got a pair of these , tried them on my first night. Woke the following morning and my house had been broken into . They took everything, even the covers over me . Didn't hear I dam thing. So yes I guess they work .
I work at the airport ramp and I wonder if they good to protect you from airplanes noise?
Can you imagine theres a fire in your house and your family is yelling to wake you up but your door is locked and you have sleep buds. Lol or if theres a robber in your house and your dog is barking. Idk if i can take those risks
@Henry Dobson lol so low flying planes every hour are still going :)
They work for me, but there are too many faults, charging, connecting, app crashing
One down fall with reg earplugs. I used earplugs one night and couldn't hear my alarm go off.
Will they work for people with misphonia?
So they are just normal in ear headphones that can only play some selected white noise tracks for 200$+ ?
Why not just buy a cheaper small in ear wireless headphones and play white noise in them. You also get listen to other musics as well. The dumbest gimmick I have seen for a while.
Ashraf Abir not the same
joe but nearly the same. Buying a cheap bluetooth earphones for sleep and a $100-200 bose ANC headphones is a much better buy imo (though there is a company called bluedio selling $25 anc earphones, haven't tested that)
Simple, find me a set of low profile bluetooth headphones that will last the night at the audio level I want, and I'd have considered them.
Most bluetooth headphones will not last 8 hours at higher volumes.
Most bluetooth headphones that even claim 8 hours tend to be a lot bulkier and less comfortable to sleep in. I've tried them. They also tend to not last the full 8 hours. And you'll get annoying loud beeps as they go from 25% battery downwards.
The cheaper option is to go wired but you'll need headphones that are 1)comfortable, 2)low profile, 3)are durable/have a replaceable cord. (The latter point is important due to inevitable shear force from moving in sleep and getting tangled.) Shure fits the bill perfectly for this and even their lower end buds suitable for this are at the $100 range. I've tried your cheapo $10-40 ones and honestly theyre just not comfy and definitely do not last. I've had the Shure's ive been using for years thanks to the ability to replace its cord.
So wireless, ultralow profile, soft, comfy, and 16 hour batter life? That rocks. I think they have a smaller market they are selling these to and are hoping to grow it, but I am thankful they made these.
They last 3.5 hours, and are huge in your ears.
Normall earphones will fall out of your ear at night, plus normal earphone are completly uncomfortable to sleep with. Another feature this has is your alarm. The alarm on these actually rings in your ear. even if your phone dies at night your alarm will still go off.
If i can't listen to music with them i don't want them
Damn barking dogs and reggaeton music
Nothing beats cheap foam earplugs to block noise. Unless have you have ton of money to blow on electronics. I have an air purifier which also doubles as white noise.
300 bucks and it doesn't even play music lol
How do you wake up?
Paul Ho they have an alarm setting that will gently wake you.
Matthew Conner like setting an alarm to wake up? What if there's a fire or intruder?
Refreshed, and in case of an intruder, well, you die. Refreshed.
Paul Ho you can turn the volume to a lower level to hear other noises.
@@matthewconner1044 doesn't that, kind of, defeat the purpose and effectiveness?
When he said the noises inside your head he meant like annoying thoughts that keep people awake right?
I definitely suffer from that. It’s probably even worse than my fiancé’s snoring 💤
But the snoring can be pretty bad. Sometimes I worry that he could have sleep apnea. I haven’t heard him gasping for breath or anything. So I hope he’s okay...
Why are Bose Sleepbuds so expensive?
when you buy the best...you only cry once. I wish I could reserve a room NYC for this amount! worth the investment, only wish they came in black. Good Night & Sleep Well!
It's like a really bad teleshop commercial ..
1st step in the right direction. The technology is still not good enough for more at the moment. However, maybe in 2020 will get the perfect combination between sleeping and musical earbuds, small and powerful enough to do the job.
Well......I have brought one of this......I think it didn’t work work well enough, guess I would choose keep use my isolate earplugs.
Having no end of trouble with my new Bose sleepbuds. They have connection issues and if they start working its only temporary. Frustration.
Aren't these just asmr earbuds? What's the difference
@bose Please make these apple earpod competitors
Interesting but would be worried about home intruders or some other emergency
Good review.
"And you can't play music..." byeee
Have beats x and I play sub submarine sound. It works well
lol dont worry about others' snore, if you are tire enough you wont remember how you fall in sleep you wont know what happen. things to do is to keep your self cool, if cant then you snore too tinny bit of air sound in you is enough and create your own pattern then follow it into sleep
I have done this for years. Sleep sounds from my phone app, wireless earbuds. Viola!
You mean earplugs from the store not earbuds.
These might help with my tinnitus at night, awesome!
Wtf are you talking about lmao
So why can't i play nature noise with cheap corded earphones? Same same but cheaper
So many people here that don't really understand what these are. They're so tiny that you can sleep on your side and you can't feel them at all. There are over ten different sounds, and you can set an alarm so it doesn't wake your partner up. You can't sleep on your side with corded earbuds because they're too big and the cord is a nuisance. I have them and they're worth every penny. "Silicone earplugs $5.00." You're not their target market buddy. They're selling a ton of them, and they've improved my sleep more than anything else I've done ever.
cacan these block the sounds of my neighbor doing jumping jack at 6 in the morning?
Can u still hear ur alarm?
So if I get these I won’t hear any more gun shots
Guys be careful buying these, I love them but every 2 months one of the bud goes quieter then the other, i already had 4 pairs and bose let me keep returning them but it's very annoying and they clearly have issues, quite a shame since if it wasn't for that I would really loved them
I'm always scared I'm not going to hear a smoke detector with headphones in while sleeping
Atleast bose can add some decent sounds like many other apps
I snore....
Nice old comment from you
Doesn't even play?! WTF
Does it work for Tinnitus ?
Works for a friend of mine
I have used snoreraser for many years. The snoring specific masking sounds mask the snoring completely at the lowest possible volume of any sounds on earth. I can't imagine why anyone would spend $250 on sleepbuds when snoreraser works better, for about one-tenth the price!
What is snoreraser, mate? Where can I get it?
I sleep like a rock so that’s $250 still in my pocket.
CZcams has hours and hours of “ANY” tranquil noise or sound you want for sleeping. Ear plug ear buds cost $11.00 (Best Buy.. etc). Sleep in any position you want by utilizing a neck pillow- horseshoe shape takes all pressure off ear when laying sideways. (And it’s very comfortable). I’ve been sleeping like this for years... Save the $240.00.
Brown noise ftw! Tried nature music and whatever relaxing music out there and those weren't as effective as brown noise.
They should just add the music capability on these that way I count put on some asmr on Spotify and knockout
A glass of wine is the best
Dear., as far as i know you can also set some smoothing sounds that helps you fall asleep.. and also you can set alarm for this earbuds., you are the only person i know complaining for this item., just sayin., its your own opinion, i don't care., peace yow.,
Can they play asmr tho
Please Bose give me the option to use it playing my music for the price should have this option
Spoitify have a sleep playlist
Living alone I need to hear things like a smoke detectors someone trying to break into my apartment etc. Masking even a little could be an issue.
Yh but these are clearly for noisy environments (noisy room)
These have potential but the execution is limited.
You shoule get QuietOn noice canceling earbuds for around the same price but way, way better performance.
My partners snoring has complete opposite effect on me, her snoring helps me sleep.
Dude looks like a young John Wayne Gacy
