Somehow when I thought I knew which one I wanted out of the Hi-X55 or Hi-X65 they're aboot to release an Hi-X60.
I can't justify to get the 3 of them I already have too many cans :(

Thanks. I bought recently x55. I enjoy it a lot. Some female sibilants as you said, but I really depends on recording. Good recordings don’t have such an issue. Love it!
Those new hi x60 though.
I was thinking that it would be a good recommendation but sbc is unacceptable at that price. I can do without a phone app, I rarely use the one for the btr5. I really like the styling of their products.
I guess a positive of their BT is that it does make an audible difference in sound signature.
@@NoThemeReviews I like to test bash you sometimes but you always come through and prove me wrong. Saying that which one of these Austrian audio headphones would you suggest for measuring voice recording proximity on mics. I have a fat head and huge elephant ears. Thanks for the review
@@jcap8391 I really can't say since I've never done that myself. All AA headphones appear to have a fairly good ability to separate vocals, so it really depends on how much money you want to spend. For what it's worth, I think the x55/65/60 are more comfortable than the lower-priced options. The x60 review is due to be released this week, so you might want to wait and watch that.

The big problem with using Bluetooth for monitoring in the studio is latency. I can imagine that you have to use lower type of conversion to get a workable latency with the available hardware today.

I got the x25 bt and i was dissapointed as i felt that it lacks low end bass and due to the dip in 2k it revealed the honkiness 1k and that made it sound cheap. Only Genres such as classical and orchestrations sound good and I prefer my athm50xBTs. The review is great 🎉
If these are plugged in are they still using the amp built in for the Bluetooth mode or do they bypass it? Never understood how that works with hybrid plugged/Bluetooth headphones. As you said it doesn’t need an amp. Is that because it has its own?
No, according to the manual the x25 shuts off when using analog connection. When I said that you don't need an amp, I meant that the headphone drivers have low impedance and high sensitivity, which means they can be driven by nearly any device without a dedicated amp.

You should be able to. But it might depend on your phone's OS. iOS, for example, may prevent that from happening if the headphones draw too much power.

Maybe. I just don’t game enough to believe I have some special experience. But I definitely wouldn’t recommend anything expensive. The 990, Austrian Audio headphones, MSR7b would be good options if you’re looking for clarity and detail.

The x55 have a terrible frequency response so unless you're good with EQ I wouldn't use them as audiophile headphone.
