Not every puzzle can be a 10 out of 10 or even challenging. Sometimes you got to have a puzzle for people who are still learning to puzzle.
brute forcing a slider configuration isnt learning how to puzzle. its learning how not to puzzle.

Reminded me of lock picking. The method used in the solve is exactly what a pick is about. Move the pins to the proper location to remove the mechanical detent.
Thankfully they didn’t care to add false gates or any pin variations 😂
You know it’s not a hard puzzle when the video is 7:38 and the solving doesn’t start until three minutes in lol
As long as the box is well made, the puzzle doesn't need to be difficult. Just needs to look nice and keep the kids/parents out of your stash (of candy).
This is the kind of puzzle that's more useful than entertaining.
Yes! 😁
Thanks for the sneak peak of your filming studio - through the eye of the lovely kalidascope!
This is virtually identical to a puzzle box I made for my grandsons ! Except that mine had moulded deep relief resin designs all over the lid.
I’d love to see your box.
@@enricopallazzo3244 So would I - It's in the grandkid's house, probably buried under a ton of toys in one of their rooms. I wish I'd taken photos of it. The design for the lid, I carved from a slab of plaster-of-Paris which was identical in size to the lid. I then made a silicone mould from this and poured a slab from polyester resin. Then I hand-painted it in Acrylic paint. I do still have the silicone mould. The actual box, I bought from Ebay, ready-made, but made the internal mechanism from scratch. The only real difference was that my four square section sliding bars were at 180 degrees to the ones in this video, and they slid through slots in wooden strips that were fixed across the underside of the internal box. The holes in the outer box were horizontal slots so you had to slide the bars sideways in the slot, not longways. The internal box had a lid on one side, fastened closed by a magnet.
For its size, the kaleidoscope is amazing.
I love your channel! I wish you uploaded more often!
Aim the kaleidoscope at the world's most difficult giraffe puzzle!
A very nice looking box, the mechanism not too difficult. A similar mechanism was also used in his Elefanten Box… he often recycles his ideas…
The kaleidoscope really makes things look magical and colourful. Love the effect.
Picked one up a couple years ago, but never got around to solving it myself. The pegs were too tight to slide smoothly and I lost patience pretty quick
Agreed and predicted 2 out of maximum of 5. Keep on puzzling!!
A missed opportunity to say "Two is binding" 😄
Very basic wafer-lock-like mechanism.
Puzzle looks awesome and doesnt seem too difficult either...it seems though that the sliders just have to be in the correct positions which doesn't seem hard to figure out....Constantine always has great puzzles. Awesome Video as always Mr P...Thanks.
What a bummer.
I got a notification for this puzzle and then realized i haven't gotten any notifications for a long long time for Mr. Puzz' videos. Then i checked on some more of my subscribed channels and guess what. CZcams is again in a phase of dementia...
This does seem a lot like picking/decoding locks. You literally can do similar things to many of those locks you see on briefcases and similar locking devices. I suppose there is a reason that many people see locks as a type of puzzle.
It is like a simple binary combination lock. It looks impressive at the start with the decorations on the box. Good post thank you 👍
Jam and Spoon - Kaleidoskop Skies
Now that sparked an idea. An incredibly complex looking puzzle with all the bells and whistles. But you can solve it by finding a secret slider and aligning the puzzle the right way. It’s the perfect troll.
Don' like it because it's one of the 'try and try' boxes. Eventually, by just shaking it in the right direction, it will open. The wood, however (mahogany?), was awesome!
so cool!
Beautiful and easy puzzle box to solve.
Constantine ALWAYS has high qualty products!!!!
Mr. puzzle, can you do more shorts videos plz
Yeah, when i bought it i opened it in 2 minutes.. i thought it could be n-ary or something interesting. Still, looks good, big, just a nice piece of furniture. Bad thing is that inner compartment is still small. Not a puzzle in my book.
Hi, I’m buying a few as gifts but they need to be hard. What are the top 3 hardest but antique/nice looking puzzle boxes I should buy?
Thought this would have received your lowest difficulty score.
👍👍
I'm surprised you give it a 2. I would think a 1 would be more appropriate. I don't think I've ever seen you solve an easier puzzle.
👍🏻
bro this is a 1/5 c'mon...
Being an adult and still having the same fascination as a child is such an important value. I love your videos.
Puzzles for me have to have some clues etc. Otherwise this is all just a bit random trial and error until like for you it just pops open. Nice looking but poor puzzle.
shut it off right at the point you were messing with the kaleidoscope. oh well.
Mildly disappointed that it's not over 500 years old. More disappointed that the solution basically requires luck or your approach. Not at all disappointed in seeing a new vid from you though.
Brute Force means to do it with strength
Not always. To brute force can also mean to do something not in the manner you are supposed to. For example: "I am going to brute force this number lock combination" means to try every possible number combination until you get the correct number without knowing it beforehand.
Brute Force just means trying all possibilities to solve a problem. What he didn't do btw.
