Man what a bad day you must be having if you're the one guy the eagle picks off among thousands of birds.
thatfishbreeder
...The worst day of your life.
Thousands? He said MILLIONS, this is truly winning the death lottery.
brianpso At least u wouldn't have to worry about trump being president
To be fair, there are undoubtedly multiple Eagles here... and they need to eat every few days, I imagine.
That's why birds flock together like that. "If I stay with more birds, the less of a chance it is that I will be the one killed!"
If Sir David Attenborough narrates I can even watch the grass grow
Honey Badger I want him to narrate for my car’s GPS
@@michaela8802 yesssss !!!! That an awesome ideal👍👍👍
Helene Pineau, either him or Morgan Freeman 😄
😂😂😂
Dont want him to call the laker game
that one bird must be thinking, " WHY ME?!"
Theo P YES
He caught 2 birds not one
@Ganda Gandara lol

I'm pretty sure they deliberately show the falcon just as the narrator says "The aerial agility of a falcon"
anyone else notice how in sync the eagle and the falcon were when they power dived.
Yep. Wondering also about how the falcon angled it's flight path close to a shadow position, in distance as well? Seems like a winning behaviour adaptation. 🙂👍
Imagine walking with a loaf of bread on that mountain . .
random person The eagle would've picked me instead of the bread if i was there
a thousand gulls all over you X_X
U just try once
the kittiwake gulls eat only fish though. (ill see myself out now)
Or a fish supper
Who also spotted the peregrine falcon at 2:41 ?
brilliant
Great!
Great eyes...
Huh saw it too lol
Me too
@2:36 Suddenly the huge eagle stoops with the aerial agility of a falcon.
@2:40 *Peregrine Falcon has entered the chat*
I LOVE Steller's Sea eagle. And I love David's narration.
The raptors are so beautiful
Wish this series would come back-- I love Blue Planet.
The Eagle is absolutely beautiful.
Imagine if all those panicked birds turned on the eagle. It would be toast.
I said the same thing to my son!
2:47 poor bird tried to get away so fast that couldn't control his speed and face palmed the water
Mr. Attenborough’s voice is like an infinity stone. Everyone is after it.
It's a bird eat bird world out there.
Befim its a birdy bird world
all of these birds are really beautiful... gotta love nature...
Peregrine falcon 02:40
Lol he’s like, “I am going to mock this larger bird that can snatch me, but who cares? I’m faster!”
It did the exact same thing as the eagle.
The peregrine is a complete stud and can smoke that eagle speed and precision wise.
Andre Garcia you’d be really surprised how acrobatic and fast eagles can be, another falconer who is a good friend of mine had a golden eagle snatch his peregrine just this year and it was a high speed chase
Radrobin25 I can only imagine it’s like jet fighters dogfighting
@2:40 a Peregrine has entered the chat.
And they forgot the peregrine falcon.
yes i almost missed it
2:39-2:42
Well he did say "with the agility of a falcon" just at that moment.
Nice catch. I never noticed it but its' definitely a Peregrine diving right along side the eagle.
Germán Rivas yeah I seen that!
The Seagull says "really out of all them birds i get caught"
Eagle replys" you must pay attention"
And i thought it was just sharks and lawyers who ate their own kind...
Haha nice 1 😂
Jack Pullen 😂 Clever. However, an eagle eating a kittiwake is less like cannibalism and more like a human eating a steak.
Respect to you senior.
Sharks eat their own kind??
Jeffrey De Guzman they do even when during the womb the older baby sharks eat the eggs and the ones that hatched recently
2:40 Falcon appears belong side the Sellers sea eagle. Did anyone else notice?
I did.
I bet it's extremely rare to see 2 birds of prey divebombing together/in sync.
Falcon: Hey there Justin
Eagle: Yooo what's up Jamal?
The peregrine was chasing the Stella off

Shut your ass up
Most majestic flyer of all eagles, makes soaring look absolutely effortless...
An Eaglr and Falcon at the same time? Amazing
These birds can form X-Men without costumes
Eagle is the lion of the sky!
@2:39 Did yall see that Peregrine Falcon? I sure did.
One of these giant sea eagles just escaped from our National Aviary and is now on the loose in Pittsburgh. The music here when it appears makes me think we should all hide or this badass is gonna kill all of us haha.
The Steller's sea eagle is the largest by weight at nearly 21 lbs. It also has a longer wingspan than either the Philippine or Harpy eagle. It's total length is slightly shorter than that of a harpy but 2.6 inches shorter than a Philippine. Philippine is the tallest eagle in the world. 🦅
Philippine eagle all of them are only 102cm tall
Philippine and harpy eagles have shorter wingspans of about 6 feet as an adaptation for hunting in dense jungles and rainforests. Birds of prey built for hunting in more open areas like white tailed eagles, closely related but smaller bald eagles and stellers sea eagles have longer wingspans
Sir David is the only human I'd gladly listen to to make documentaries about nature.
James May would be the only human I'd listen to to make documentaries about planes and engineering.
Jeremy Clarkson would be the only person I'd listen to to make a documentary about guns and cars.
The eagle be like
SWIGGITY SWOOGITY IM COMMIN FOR DAT BOOTY
See how that Eagle majestically arrives...nice
So, this is the T-Rex of modern raptors.
They are basically flying velociraptors
Man's about to drop the sickest freestyle
Sea Eagle..
SeaEagle..
Seagle..
Seagull.
It's a Seagull.
riprese straordinarie, eccezionali, fantastiche!!!
claudio
I thought the Harpy Eagle was the largest. Matters not; both are HUGE!
I think the Steller’s Sea Eagle is slightly heavier. But they are around a similar size.
It’s been a 3 horse race between the Steller’s, the Harpy and the Philippine Eagle on what is the largest for some time.
I seen a harpy in person. Those birds are gigantic.
@@akden1647 largest steller sea eagle height is 113cm i see in Google but i forget what name of the weebsite not Wiki and no nation geography
SirStoneyOfBow i believe the harpy Eagle is strongest (leg/talon power), Stellar’s is the heaviest and the Philippines eagle is longest. All equally beautiful birds 🙌🏼
Love the soundtracks to these videos!
Everyone's a gangsta untill the eagle arrives
Never thought I'd see an eagle eating a seagull.
That's breath taking video. Thanks bbc
All I hear is "Mine Mine Mine".
- Finding Nemo reference.
You ruined the joke by quoting the reference
Eagles be like this a no fly zone
This is so incredible to see!
The agility of a falcon..... literally.......
2:40
Thanks BBC
2:40 My gaze had shifted from an eagle to a peregrine falcon.. its hard day for sea birds :/
_Kittiwake bird_
It's name is just so fun.
It's one of the birds whose English name matches its' call, like a cuckoo

Anyone else notice the Peregrine Falcon at 2:41?
2:37 "With the aerial agility of a falcon"
Love the music on this clip lol
beautiful nature.thanks for sharing this
Yes , it is . . . at least if you're not being eaten alive by an enormous eagle. :)
These are beautiful birds
One bird scares 500+ birds.. Sounds like modern society.
absolutely amazing 👍👍
attenborough kept way quiet about habitat destruction his whole career
I didn't know we had bird like these
I love the suspenseful music.
Love the attack music!
What a beautiful birds
Its genus name Haliaeetus is New Latin for sea eagle. Its species name pelagicus is a throwback to its first Latin name Aquila pelagica, which means pelagic eagle. Can you believe that?
Beautiful
1:53 Majestic flight
That’s amazing
I really wanted to see the part where it ate the seagull up...
Very beautiful birds
Never give up! That's the spirit.
AMAZING
i go to the national aviary just to see the steller's sea eagles--they are freaking massive!
