The Steller's sea eagle is the largest by weight at nearly 21 lbs. It also has a longer wingspan than either the Philippine or Harpy eagle. It's total length is slightly shorter than that of a harpy but 2.6 inches shorter than a Philippine. Philippine is the tallest eagle in the world. 🦅

Philippine and harpy eagles have shorter wingspans of about 6 feet as an adaptation for hunting in dense jungles and rainforests. Birds of prey built for hunting in more open areas like white tailed eagles, closely related but smaller bald eagles and stellers sea eagles have longer wingspans
