"STRENGTH IN NUMBERS" left the chat.
Numbers don’t mean shiiii when all you can do is swim in a ball lol

Ikr 🤣🤣🤣
Moral of the story: tornado formation doesnt work against hordes of tuna.
But it doesn't give them an easy ride either. Work for that lunch
Doesn’t work close to the surface*
مامليت ي البعوض
Also doesn't work against nets lol
Man, this kind of video makes me feel glad I wasn't born as a sardine.
Factz
Hai
CZcams is eating you without you realizing it.
Well yeah, but still regret to born in this world anyway.
If you were Indian then you could get reborn as a fucken sardine next life cycle :))
that ending though
My brother at Thanks Giving🦃
I feel bad for laughing when the shark at the one fish
oink ooink google it
Sparka does it matter?
3:30-3:32
Fish: im alive!!!
Tuna: nope
Some random guy from the beyond
It was already dead
Nope, but would probably die very soon indeed.
Arturo Soto Nani!?
sushi yes
actually, it's already dead.
Their speed and coordination is as if it is one organism, nothing should go wrong at those speeds
So now being smart is considered a nerd? Congrats on showing your own ignorance I guess. Limp dick hippie queer.
No Prisoners! said the Yello Tuna.
The sounds the tuna make when swimming past the camera sound super cool.
You do realize they record the sounds separately...it's all fake ;)
3:30 - That's proof that Nemo and Dory ain't never stood a chance, ever!
how did the camera man survive this complete destruction?
Idk if we can compare a Nuclear Explosion to a hunting pack of Tuna. But I agree, someone, somewhere is gonna be here on this planet to see what's left when we're gone. At-least one person.
They left one survivor so he can tell the tale.
C. Alin lies the predators are paid actors
He dindt :'( the recording was found days after...
the camera man is at a far distance i think
Addendum. The whole thing was amazing. Kudos to the divers filming. I would have been scared out of my mind. Like another comment, I have snorkeled through a ball, and yes, not one fish touched me
I've scuba dived in fish balls like this in NW Washington, they can count by millions an inch all around you, but not one touch you! It's amazing!
How did they catch so much stuff going at once.. it must’ve been epic witnessing this first hand
How in the world do they film these footage?
mark84g5 ....With a camera.
i met Dubulee ?sp? many years ago in college.....he said....for every minute that we see....there were 15000 minutes taken
mark84g5 that is CGI
*how on earth do they film this footage
Are you stupid?
Got into a ball of silversides once while diving. Amazing, totally disorienting - had to close my eyes. I was so fascinated and the moment so rare (for me), it didn't occur to me 'til later that SOMETHING forced them there. Still think about what it might have been...
Tuna and Dolphins
Blue Planet... A truly timeless documentary series.
As a fisherman who NEVER catches anything while I am fishing it is painful to see those tunas and Jack’s all together feeding aggressively.
"Aw man, I can't kill any animals >:("
I'd argue its less cruel to eat and fish than to fish and not eat just hooking them for no reason
@@kk-dj7qp Finally someone said it. Fishing for sports and throwing the fish back in the sea is just a pointless cruelty. Eat the damn fish..
@@twentytwo138 While I agree that intentional sportfishing is not good, we need to remember that many times a fish is caught out of season, too small, or prohibited. Perhaps it would be better to have fishermen attend a class that teaches how to properly release a fish without killing it. I know that some places require boats to have a "Descender" device on the boat. This lets a fish go back down to a level where it has a good chance of survival before automatically releasing it. This saves many fish, but I doubt all fishermen use it for fish they don't consider valuable. We can also remember, that every dead fish becomes food for another soon enough, so while it is a sad, and avoidable situation, it isn't a total loss to the ecopsystem. The worse loss is bring fish home, letting it sit in the freezer, and then throwing it out a year later because you didn't eat it. 😕
Humans can’t even merge onto a freeway without causing accidents
These 🐟 fish are 100s deep doing simultaneous 180 degree turns
those r the fish from nemo that showed dori the direction to 42 Wallaby Way Sydney
Lil Ugly Dude lol those were moon fish that helped did I these are kinds anchaveta.
Yes.
You are little and ugly
Love the blue planet, so nostalgic. Can you guys upload the open ocean crab scene? It's the best

سبحان الله وبحمده عدد خلقه ورضا نفسه وزنة عرشه ومداد كلماته
nature is more thrilling than Hollywood i concluded after seeing this
After seeing aqua man?
A good view from undersea...
I always fishing from the boat and saw this feeding frenzy many times. One incident when I hooked a bonito reeling in a few metres from the boat then coming from underneath at an instant and great speed a huge marlin probably 4 metre in length pinned it and hauled the bonito on its nose 2mtrs above the water. I lost the bonito with the marlin..
Wish I caught that rare moment on cam to show it here...
Sardines: I must survive untill all them get full😂
On god lol I was like why form a damn ball 😅❔
That ending though 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Big idea saves the smaller fish from their giant predators. Wonderful. Thanks to the BBC earth for this video.
Based on all these BBC videos, this small fish swarming tactic maybe works out 1 out of a million times. If anything, they would be better off breaking off into 10 or 20 smaller groups and making a break for it in all directions. Sure, two or three smaller pods may not make it, but most of them will escape.
They're too panicked for that.
@@juniperburton7693 Three things come to mind: 1) small fish have short lifespans and typically cannot escape once caught (so they can't learn); 2) the ones that do learn to escape, aren't on the video; and 3) also, animal documentaries are almost always staged in some form since you can't have a camera crew on 24/7 cruising around to find an instance in the vast oceans, jungle, or desert.
Finding Nemo Gone Wrong
As someone who fishes, HOLY SHIT. If I ever see this frenzy in front of my eyes, I think I would pass out
You call that sitting by canal with a line and couple beers doing it for fun with an already full belly fishing ? 😁😁
I've seen similar things inshore. Big groups of 40 pound or so jacks hitting a big school of mullet in open water.
Only BBC version you can trust, and won't manipulate your mind
Fishtornado.
It's called a fishnado, get it right
Oh, sorry.
Wonderful ! Awesome shot..
Un grand bravo au cameraman.
The sound effects made me think I was watching Top Gun. ✈
The sounds are incredible!
The sound effect made this a lot cooler
My mom once told me "You can tune a piano but you can't tuna fish". Boy did I prove her wrong, I had that fish tuned to a perfect A 432HZ, none of that A 440HZ bullshit.
That tuna at the end tho. Awesome.
Amazing footage, action beneath sea waters surface is overwhelming 👍
The camera man never fails you🤯
Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar..... Almighty Allah swt is Rabb
3:33 wow small fish all ready gone(amazing)😱😱😱👏👏👏👏👏👍👍
This is why you don't stack on A.
The ball formation didn’t seem to have much effect, they still got ate
Man! That was INTENSE!
The last fish though... dang
That remora gave the shark a soul patch
Beautiful but they don't have time to relax they have to run away for your life the old ways looking to eat them to catch them wow amazing thank you I love to see the whole group such a big group thank you
If I were one of those fish in the bait ball, I'd sure as hell would want to be in the middle of it.
Imagine living this fast.
You know… it’s things like this that remind me of why I live in a landlocked state…
That sounds dumb.
These fishes are like night terrors of httyd
This is world war 1 fish version LOL
سبحان اللہ.
3:30 *bruh sound effect*
😃😂😂😂😅
Sounds like somekind of echoing sniper shot
This is magnificent. Amazing work.
Phenomenal, thrilling to watch.
I've been in the middle of one of these tornado of fishes in ixtapa, amazing...till the swordfish came.
United we stand divided we fall
The camera person deserves an Oscar.
Amazin Video :D Sobhana Allah
Sharks are like the gangsters of the sea
Allahu Akber🤲🏼🥲ne boyuksen Allahim sene hemd olsun
Allaah Akbaar
That last one, when you play dead and still get eaten🤷♂️
that doesn't even look real, it looks like something out of a movie.
Kudos to the cameraman ❤️
Let's scare the predators away by forming a huge buffet ...
That formation of fish does not even compare to when people on the internet work together. Either way, as predator or prey. Glad I'm on the boat watching from above. Silly fishes. Always schooling around.
Sea bass you say? Well, do they at least have sharp teeth? Well that's a start.
This is more epic that a Harry Potter duel.
Mmm! Delicious fish.
😭How can we as humans live with ourselves eating poor fish?
Dude Fish eat Fish!😤
An Average Stormtrooper doesn’t give the right to kill them
@Anti-Thot Officer Johnson uh sardines are endangered species more so than tuna. they are 95 percent over fished lol
@Anti-Thot Officer Johnson true but it can get worst if we keep going at this pace lol
The fish: massive ball formation
The blue whale: easy food
For someone to be able to film this footage. You have some balls.
0:36 Bonito- Smaller relatives of the Tuna. It's name in Spanish that translates to "pretty", "lovely".
Nice captured video.
Keep swimming just keep swimming!!!
The last scene! Wow!
Not going to lie, if I jumped in the water and saw a fish-tornado, Id run for sure
loving these uploads, keep it up.
So nobody going to talk about how the sardines made a fish vortex.
For real, I feel like people just don’t care about these things, it’s amazing!
Awww... one little guy survived the frenzy.... oh... nevermind. LoL
Imagine being the last to be eaten. The amount of terror you feel at being lonely and knowing what is about to happen to you...
I have seen something similar to this while swimming and trust me it is very intimidating
Tuna gang: Alright boys. You all know how this goes. No fish left uneaten
The bait ball looks like some form of eldricht monster

Love the sounds produced 😬
Mega Wishiwashi
Straight up 😁
bro that's why I started liking fish.
Bbc editor : Today I feel like scaring the audience. Let me just add a jump scare at the end of the video. 😂
1:28 yeah not too difficult ey? Oh look, there’s the massive spinning tornado of food guys!
like a speed demon
Pure chaos
Ah, that sound is so satisfying. SWSHH SWSOSHH swssshh SWSSSSHHHH
Another obsession with close ups. Would have been nice to see the larger picture of the entire event
Yeah they zoom in too much, too many times
If they record the sound in 3d it will be much more appreciable and awesome.
Hilarious how many people marvel at the sounds 😂😂😂 All recorded in a studio ;)
Plot twist: The camera man was a shark
