- Filmed a few years ago, this is a montage of riding shots from our 1960's Honda Race Replica Build films (Parts 1 & 2), which can be found on the hoxtonmoto youtube channel. We have also included some shots which were never used in the original cut.
Many thanks to Miles Stowey for his skilfull and sometimes hazardous camerawork. Also a shout-out to Kim Iben, our precision camera car driver and the use of his luxurious Executive Rover 405 with partially working electric windows.

Really nice shots!
Thanks guys, appreciate the comment - hope your channels doing well.
Brings back memories of intoxicated Friday nights at mates place listening to the old TT Sounds records, those Hondas really did hit the mark, they look beautiful, they sound wonderful and they performed as well. Fantastic video.
Thanks Paul, we appreciate your comment.
Beautiful bike and the I really enjoyed the video. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful, just beautiful...could watch this all day
TOP !
What a sound. Alot of people say the inline 4 sounds boring. I will show them this video. That A hole could of killed the rider. I'm glad the rider was not hurt.
Vroom vroom! Good video.
Glorious exhaust note.
Hello great video on the Honda 400Four race bike build can you advise were you got the fairing and mounting brackets from please do some more videos on this.
Thanks. The fairing came from Mead Speed (UK) and the mounts were made in-house to get the right height. There's some build component suppliers on our website - on the bike builds page. D&M Engineering (UK) are a very good source for parts and advise building a Honda Race Rep - highly recommended.
Thank you very much for you prompt reply just a couple of questions I forgot to ask were did you sours the petrol tank and I presume it must have been specially made to fit the 400Four frame, also is TTR400 in South Africa if so is it a bit of a customs hassle to get me rear sets from them, I very much appreciate your help many thanks again
Mark.
Hi, yes the tank was hand-made which I got through D&M engineering - although there are other tank builders the UK which can supply. As I recall, it was a good snug fit on the 400/4 frame, but I may have adapted the rear fixing point to secure the tank with the ally strape. Yes, TTR400 are in SA, at the time of the build they were machining parts for classic racing Honda's and I fortunatetly stumbled on there website. Not sure if TTR are still making rearsets, but if you can get a set, they come with adjustments, mounting brackets and linkages for the 400/4 frame - all I made were the spacers to get them in the right position for my build. If TTR are no longer suppying, there's alot of rearsets on the market, but they will probably need new bracketing and linkages, may be worth asking D&M, they will be able to recommend a set. Hope that helps. When you finish send a photo - hoxtonmoto instagram.
Took me back a year or two so nice to see
CR750 replica?
Sadly, its not a 750. We built its using a standard CB400/4
Very cool will watch this for sure...can you make me a fairing for my BMW R9T?
We used a fibreglass full fairing supplied by Mead Speed modelled on the original 1960's Honda race machines. If you're based in UK, you could ask Pier City Cycles who specialise in R9T's or contact the talented Amann at Storik or Jake Vintage who can both fabricate a complete fairing in ally with a plexiglass screen.
Call up Air Tech composites.
Glory, but that single plastic mirror is no go. Get a bar end or ....
Aah, well spotted, but did you notice the other anomaly!
@@hoxtonmoto please tell me quietly. That’s such nice clip that I have watched over and over.
