Just wanted to clear it up, because I failed to mention this just like I did with The Front lol, PVE servers are available for those who do not want to fight other players. It is not strictly PVP. Even in PVP servers, the way the combat works is pretty unique, you can learn more about it here: www.oncehuman.game/wiki.html?art_id=7&t=wiki
It actually seems like engaging in the "Chaos" state (PVP) is pretty risky considering you're up against everyone else, who also cannot fight each other, so it's the server vs your team if you decide to try and raid somebody. I think I'm understanding that correctly haha.
This is a HUGE piece of information. I was kind of iffy when pvp was mentioned because I avoid it if I can, but they have servers strictly for Pve only is AMAZING. They are catering to all, the graphics look great the gameplay has HUGE potential. I am really looking forward to this just based off your gameplay so thank you for sharing.

This game is heavily inspired by so many different things: The monsters are similar to the monsters created by Trevor Henderson (creator of Sirenhead), the environments of the game, with big blocks of stone, and strange liminal spaces, are partially inspired by the game Control (a game by the creators of Alan Wake). The character design, especially the scientists reminds me of Lost Planet, while the cradle he's wearing is similar to the device that holds the baby in Death Stranding. It's like a combo of 10 different games and ideas.

Also the last popular Chinese game, Stray, straight up copied the entire opening scene script from Rain World. Any manufactured item exists, you can guarantee China has made multiple shitty copies, their whole military is copied old outdated (mostly American) designs.
Hearing the words “lost planet” is a trip
You know a game is good when you don't want to instantly skip the dialogue sequences. The lore so far seems solid; this could be a pretty wicked game.

The dev´s have already earned a ton of credits for being extraordinarily creative at the enemy design.
The world design itself fits perfectly into the setting and the illusion of a living world is already quite immersive. And this is something where so many open world games failed big time, to give the player the feeling he is literally in a living world.
Deserves to keep an eye on.
In a world that's 99% hostile and 0.5% friendly, even the 0.5% that's neutral to you can be a breath of fresh air. I love that bus.
This game also reminds me a lot of "Control", with the Stardust warping humans, animals and plants into twisted monstrosities. The Stardust feels a lot lke The Hiss.
All things considered, this is looking to be an amazing game!

This looks fucking amazing. It's like division with SCP with Secret World with Control all wrapped in a blanket. So many other games can be included in that too. Definitely super excited about it and would love to see more. I am definitely gonna see if I can try the beta this weekend too.

Melee combat needs a lot work and the enemies seem kind a passive, they should be more aggressive.
Feels weird to shoot enemies who just sits there and takes it.

32:14 SCP-2086 The Man Eating Bus looks similar to this but has wings and tends to lure people inside itself by pretending to be a normal bus, then taking the victims to it's lair where they are eaten.

From the intro alone, the creature design in the game looks absolutely incredible! The fact that this game runs multiplayer with the added bonus of insane setting design is so wild to me :O

The Bus with legs and hands seems inspired by SCP-2086, they are definitely taking inspiration from all over the place but definitely making it their own stylewise. Looks awesome so far!

I freaking love this it’s like a world security breach from the SCP foundation we read from stories, the weirdagendon that was failed to be contain in gravity falls, the inside jobs failing to contain the anomalies that were once hidden from the world, has broken loose, when this comes out I hope there is an SCP tribe that will help recontain these anomalies and bring the world back to light, just hope we don’t have to deal with other organizations that such as the GOC or the Cult of the Broken God get in the way
There wasn't to many here but something I love about glitched reality plots is glitched gameplay could easily be explained away.

Probably the best Once Human vid I've seen. Seems like most of the others focused almost exclusively on crafting and gathering. You guys showcased way more story and creature variety.

Been playing it since the beta started, it's so much fun. I also think that plenty of the enemies are inspired by Ghostwire: Tokyo which I absolutely love.
Interior design and VFX immediately reminded me of Control. I'm hooked on brutalist architecture and non-human-sensical interior design since then, this game better have some more of that
@@updog4L It definitely has Control vibes too. Especially how you are able to pick up things like the lamps and briefcases from the monsters and then use them against them. I love the brutalist style too!

It reminds me of The Evil Within enemies which were made by the same people as Ghostwire so it still checks out

I feel like this game has enough potential to eventually go toe to toe with leading multiplayer games in the RPG/Survival space like Destiny 2, DayZ or EFT if everything goes just right. And from the looks of it, it really deserves to be at the top, too. It's a refreshing experience!
This game will pull a few players from Destiny but I dont see any DayZ or Rust players moving over to this. The PVP is horrible. This game feels more like The Front where the devs just thought it would be a good idea to throw as many games as possible into one game. That never works.
I hope this game is better than clash of clans, I'm so tired of CoC

This looks promising. The entire concept really got my attention and interest. The supernatural concept reminds me of games like the ones you mentioned combined but also like Control and Death Stranding in concept(I don't know the right terminologies, lol). It's like it would have that kind of unique concept and I love it. It's also like a game that was meant to be a single player but it is multiplayer which makes it better. Already wishlisted it. Definitely going to wait for this.
Look at "The Secret World" to fill the time. It has similar, great storytelling.
