- We hope you enjoy this Memorial Day Tribute to our World War II Heroes. This is the reason they are known as the greatest generation.
Thank you to all of you who sent in pictures of your loved ones. Though we were not able to include every picture in this video, we looked at every one and read every story that was sent to us. We were deeply moved. Thank you again to those who will always be in our memories.

To anyone wondering where these pictures came from, they were submitted to us by our amazing subscribers- from you all! Thank you for your help in making this wonderful tribute possible.
💚🙏❤️💙💫
Excellent tribute. Well done.
I am so proud of you three! Your voices are heavenly. My mother's brothers all served our country. My husband served in Vietnam. Jim doesn't talk much about it. Those soldiers were heckled and spit on when they came home. I hope they all see this tribute.
A little treat for you three. Singing Sergeants USAF. czcams.com/video/oU_Ru13cY_g/video.htmlsi=fzmr3PPln96Er_ZA
Thank you so much for this. All my relatives alive at that time, save one cousin, have passed on. I miss them more now than ever. ❤
Please don’t forget us more than one million black Americans fought in world war 2! My dear dad was one ! Many never returned home ! I was fortunate that he was a proud survivor !
Never!! Thank you
Thank you for your comment:) We only used the pictures that were sent to us, but you are right! We will never forget. Please, if you have any pictures send them to us! We are considering doing a second video with even more pictures in it and we’d love to include him.
Look up the Battle of Bamber Bridge UK. It’s where the villagers stood up for the black soldiers against the MP. It’s on YT❤❤❤
They're all my heroes
Amen
beautiful! My dad is 101 years old. He was a prisoner of war in Germany. After he was liberated he spent a year in the army hospital. He was sick and emaciated plus he'd lost the end of a couple of toes to frostbite. But he went on to live an amazing full life. I'm fortunate to have him and my mom still with me. They've been married 75 years.
That is such a cool story!
Wonderful! My father made it to 100 years, 2 months and 13 days and died 2 years ago. He was proud of his service. It’s sad, but my mother died in 1993. The first thing he said was after she died was that he had hoped they would have 10 more years together, but he had 30 years without her. They had 45 years together. Your parents and you are blessed.
Please send your Dad (& Mom) deepest admiration, gratitude & love from the daughter of a long deceased but forever proud & faithful Marine who also served in that war. 💗🙏🕊🇺🇲
😮😮😮❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Wow. They certainly built men and women differently back then. I imagine nothing he’s seen since has even come close. His perspective on life is probably more grounded than most everyone.
Thank you for this! My dad turned 98 last March. He is a WWII vet. Still living at home independently. Love that man beyond words! ❤
A big thank you to him for his service! My grandfather too, but he has passed.
He came from a time when men were men. So many thanks to him and all who ever served.
Thank him every day please
Amazing!
THEY DONT MAKE UM LIKE THAT ANY MORE TOUCH AND DETERMINED TO DO GODBLESS HIM AND THANKS SO SO MUCH FOR HIS SERVICE AND SACRFICE FOR EVERYONES FREEDOM
Thank you so very much. Cold War Vet SSGT USMC I Was There and Gave my health for my fellow man. Disabled Aug 1984. I will never forget and pray neither will America's Young People...
My father in WW II, 2 uncles in WW II, my husband in Viet Nam, brother in Iraq War. Thank you for your service.
My grandfather was a Merchant Marine captain of Liberty Ships taking supplies to Europe. He had three ships sunk from under him, and took a 14mm round in the leg. Before that, he fought in the trenches of WW1. My father stood fast at the Pusan Perimeter, in spite of a shrapnel head wound. They inspired me to serve in the Gulf War. They inspired my nephews, who were injured in Afghanistan. We've stood on the line to preserve democracy and the American way, proudly.
Thank you and God bless you.
None is forgotten who puts their life in harm's way for another. No rank or colour will divide those who stood shoulder to shoulder in the battle against evil. This is a sobering reminder of the ultimate sacrifice the brave make for another. Thank you Life in 3D for a dignified memorial to God's beautiful people.
Well said Sir! 👏
@@tashasmith1743 God bless you.
When I was 12 years old, i played bugle in a drum corps. The local American Legion Post asked me to play taps at a soldier's funeral. Then they asked if I'd do another. And another, and another. Some of those being laid to rest were veterans of the Spanish American War. Some were veterans of WWI,. Others were veterans of WWII, and the Korean conflict (this was the mid to late 50's). To happen upon your tribute this evening has filled me with rememberance of things past. I cannot thank you enough for this amazing acknowledgement of the average person who, when called upon, answers. Billy Boyd's tribute to the Tokien's epic stories was the perfect choice for the music. Thank you, and thank you to the veterans, one and all...
I am 91 Korean War Vet Air Force - Thankyou for this "Excellent Presentation" God bless You
🫡 thank you for your service! 🇺🇸
Thank you for your service. My father passed last year at 94 he was also a Korean War vet.
Thank you for your service. May God’s hand continue to be upon your life.
@@cottagekeeper Thankyou

My uncle died in a foxhole in France on Christmas Eve during WWII. He was only 19 yrars old. He fought to keep us free! We must never forget all these brave souls. What a beautiful tribute! Coming from such honored youth! Blessings❤❤❤
I am sorry for your family's loss but am grateful for the sacrifices of the greatest generation.
Mercy, I will remember him Ma'am and give thanks for his sacrifice to win freedom! My Dad fought aboard the USS Essex in the Pacific during WWII. I will never forget....
I lost my husband 5 1/2 years ago. He was a Marine from Viet Nam era. He lost both eyes, 2in hole in his skull, and numerous other injuries. Yet, he went to college, worked 15 yrs for the VA, married with 6 children. He is an extraordinary man and I miss him.
So sorry.
I’m so sorry ! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻
Thanks for his service and for your love and service to him. This veteran salutes him.
Hand Salute to your husband from this Vietnam Combat Vet. Our numbers are in decline but our spirits are still strong.
Was the U.S. at war in Vietnam?
My father served in Europe, specifically Germany, after the war and to his grave never spoke of the attrosities he witnessed. Thank you for honoring all our heroes in such a beautiful way

On behalf of my father, Master Sgt. Roy Burnes Jr, who served in North Africa, Sicily and Italy, I thank you. Your tribute was beautifully done.
Hi. Thanks to your Dad. May God bless his soul and his family, all of you. My Dad was also a Master Sargeant who served in Africa, Sicily and Italy. Both of his parents back home in the States died while he was over there fighting. He was not able to return home for their funerals. He also lost friends over their. He was in the Army. My Mom was an Ensign in the Navy. She died young. I miss them both.
@@jimhoffmann2649 God bless you and your family each day. these service members truly were the GREATEST GENERATION - they saved the free world. may we and our families alwaysss remember their service and sacrifice ❤️🇺🇸💙
As a French man I will never forget that we owe our freedom to the American people and it will be a joy to welcome you in Paris for the Olympics. Please come to visit us. The city of Paris was never as beautiful as today. I look forward to see you back.
When I see the reverence and gratitude of the citizens of Normandy greeting our surviving veterans visiting your sacred country, it touches my heart so deeply. Gratitude can cross generations, and in so doing, it assumes a deep patina upon our character and culture. Mes respects, Monsieur.
This is inspiring, thank you
Freedom is not free.Veterans paid the price for you.We came in all colors and fought so that you would be free.Thank you to all Veterans.
What a beautiful memorial for all the men and women who contributed to the war effort. My Grandmother and grandfather worked in a munitions factory at home. My father was in the RCAF abroad and two of my Uncles were dispatch riders at the front lines. God was merciful and all lived long and happy lives. Thank you all for your service, and the gift of freedom which we have enjoyed. I pray that we will have freedom until the Lord takes us home.
My dad participated in the Normandy invasion, fought through to Berlin, and was awarded the Purple Heart. Your tribute was deeply touching! Thank you ❤️
My father would be 100 Y/O... He served in WWII on the USS Biloxi... Thank you for this tribute!!! God bless everyone, who served and for the hero's, who died for our feedom... ALL gave some... Some gave ALL...
This a beautiful tribute and very well done. I know you folks are Americans and this was done for your Memorial Day, but let me share the story of a dear friend Douglas ( God rest his soul ) who joined the Royal Navy at the outbreak of war in 1939 at 17 years of age and served in every region where the Royal Navy was deployed including the D-Day landings and the inavasion of Sicily and ended to the war in HMS Howe in the Pacific. He got home in 1946 ...7 years after he left home. They were indeed "the greatest generation"
They were indeed. Thank you for telling us about your dear friend - he sounds like a true legend! I have a 17 year old son and can't begin to imagine him experiencing such horrors... Your friend surely had angels watching over him!
@barrytucker1561 Yes they were! Your friend was a hero. My respect to both of you.
Goose bumps, crying, touching! WE HAVE TO REMEMBER THEM! Excellent work, and song. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for that Tribute. My father served in WW2 as a Ball Turret Gunner on the B17s, 17 missions over Germany. He made it home safely, Praise God. Lived till 2002.💗🙏🙏
On behalf of my Late Father who served in WW11 on the Aleutian Chain in Alaska I thank you 3D for a beautiful tribute for all those who served and died for our country. We honor them all and do not take it lightly what they have done for us all. Love your voices. Keep singing. God Bless you.
Well done in gratitude to our servicemen, who paid the price for our freedoms ❤️🇺🇲
This is beautiful. My dad, who passed in 2008, served in the US Army Air Force in WWII. Thank you, and may God bless you for doing this. I am fortunate that my father came home after the war. So many did not.
Tears of thankfulness for all who have and are serving our country! The music, vocals, everything was top notch and will touch many hearts! May God bless America!❤Thank you 3D💕
Your beautiful video and song tribute was released today (5/18/24) which is Armed Forces Day. My dad and his identical twin served together in the Navy in WWII. Fittingly, Dad was buried on Armed Forces Day (nine years ago today). God bless all those who served in WWII and those still here to tell about it. You are appreciated, remembered, and loved.
What beautiful significance, truly special
This is such a beautiful tribute to those who served in WW2. My Dad served and came home safely unlike so many others. Thank you 3d for this and I'm sure the families of those who are gone will be greatly blessed. I know I have been. God Bless you all!!
So tastefully done. Brought tears to my eyes as my father passed last month having served at Pearl Harbor (after the Japanese bombardment) repairing submarines' electronics. His ashes are now buried at a National Veterans Cemetery. We will remember them all.
I dont know the song but u guys got me with this one...having served 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan its hard to see stuff like this and not get choked up, thank u for this song
From Lord of the Rings
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AND MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AMEN
My dad is almost 100 and he was there!
GODBLESS HIM AND WITH THE UPMOST RESPECT I THANK HIM FOR HIS SERVICE TO THIS COUNTRY AND FOR ALL OF US AMERICANS AMEN
You gave me tears listening and watching this. God Bless all veterans from all nations both then and now, who put their lives on the line for our freedom's....From UK Veteran 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
Thank you for the beautiful video. My father served in WW2, Korea and Vietnam and died in 2001 a week before the 911 attacks. I cannot appreciate his sacrifice enough to keep freedom in this country.
Praise, gratitude and love to all our WWII Veterans!! My dad was a pilot. He loved flying the P51 Mustang. Also flew the mighty B36!!! He passed away 6 years ago. My heart will always be with him....and all our brave Veterans, no matter their color or position!! An amazing generation who loved their country more than life itself! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We won't let you down!!! God Bless America!!! Now and forevermore!!!❤🇺🇸
I wish that the current generation felt that pride for our country. Lord help us if WW111 breaks out. My Great Uncles and two Great Aunts fought in WW11. 3 of them were decorated heroes. They were proud of our country and said that they would fight again if they had too. Unfortunately all of them are gone now, but they will never be forgotten nor will all of those who have served before and since. They all deserve our deepest gratitude, no matter color or rank.
THAT was soooo beautiful......your harmonies are magnificent!!! You 3 have such beautiful voices!!! Thank you so much for this tribute!!! My daddy was in WWII as well!!! ❤
Such a great generation! We should all strive to be half that they were. My grandmother was a fine example of a matriach, always there. My grandfather was such a hardworking, humble man.
Absolutely beautiful!! Made me think of my stepdad, who proudly served in the Army and Air Force, though not in WWII. Brought tears to my eyes.
Wow! There are no words to describe this beautiful tribute. Thank you for doing this and thank you to everyone out there who has served our country. God bless the USA.
Beautifully done Doura and backed up by your brothers and beautiful orchestra. And it is so fitting that the younger generation recognizes the sacrifices made by those that served. Thank you Life in 3D
Thank you for honoring our nation's Veterans with your beautiful singing.
This was such an awesome & heartfelt tribute to our service men & women 🇺🇲 THANK YOU 🙏❤️

This is such a touching song and a well-done video! Thank you so much for the opportunity to share my grandfather's photo. Much love and God's blessings to you all and your families.
Thank you to the three of you for your tender tribute to the Veteran's of WW2 ! Thank you for including the picture I sent to your email of my parents Headstone. Another proud memory in our Family History . Thank you for the sweet words in the lyrics, sung so beautifully with your talented voices. Your effort to keep these memories alive makes you heroes as well in my book !
This really made me miss my dad who fought in WWII along with 3 of my uncles. Thank you to ALL who served

My mom lost her kid brother at age 20 , just remember her crying if you mentioned his name,my dad & 5 uncles served ! Bless all that sacrificed their lives!❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Retired Army here with 4 tours to OIF. My grandfather was my hero and he was a Thompson machine gunner in WWII. I pretty much patterned my life after him. Thank you all for doing this wonderful tribute and good luck on your future endeavors!
Lovely tribute to the brave men and women who powered through the war to preserve democracy. Thank you.
Beautiful singing and a wonderful tribute to those who were willing to sacrifice everything for others.
Just beautiful and emotional ❤ thank you for making this beautiful tribute video ❤
This is one of the songs in one of the Lord of the Rings movies. I love the way you're using it!❤
The Rings Trilogy was, after all, an allegory of the Second World War, among other things. Lovely song, guys. Your voices blend so magically. God bless, and blessed Memorial Day.
You can feel their spirits. They are gone for now, never forgotten, one day to be reunited with our loved ones! Beautifully done!
Absolutely beautiful Memorial song, thank you, what a beautiful 🙏❤️👍🇺🇸
That had me crying. I remember seeing a statistics a few months ago about how few ww2 vets are left and was thinking when I was a kid it was the Spanish American War vets they were talking about. My uncle Billy served in ww2. He was 15 yrs old. God bless all of them. And God bless yall for this beautiful video tribute. ❤❤
My father, the late Staff Sgt. Henry A, (Medic Corps) Thanks you. And so do I.
You did our men and women Warriors such great respect… thank you! God Bless.
Beautiful tribute thankful for all our service men and women who have served this great country, thank you for your service ❤❤❤
Beautiful, beautiful. My dad's generation. With pride, and tears in my eyes, I watch this. Thank you.
Thank you very much! I already loved this song, and now I love it even more. My dad served in WW2 in the motorized and medical troop that followed General Patton's troop everywhere. He didn't die in the war, but he died very early, at age 54. Watching the photos roll by reminds me very much of the photos that we have that were taken while he was overseas, as well.
You did a WONDERFUL job of singing the song, as well as putting together this tremendous tribute to the military people pictured. Thank you again, and thanks to all the people who supplied you with the photos and memories.
Dad was in the Italian front. Thanks for this. Loved you guys before but even more now.
Amazing tribute
Gave me goosebumps 😢
My dad met my mum during the war.
He helped free Holland from German occupation.
My mum was Dutch .
My dad was welcomed into her household and romance blossomed ❤
Beautiful story
I cannot say or add to all the praise and thanks to you three wonderful singers. I have enjoyed all the videos you have made for CZcams. I tend to become cynical about the way things are now in 2024, but Lifein3D has lifted my spirits and hopes for the future. Best wishes and good luck to the lives you are just beginning.
Thank you for honoring our ww2 veterans. Very heartfelt. My father was a decorated veteran. He lived to be 90 and passed away 14 years ago. ❤
They truly were the greatest generation, the willing sacrifice for our country. God bless all active and retired US military and a deep gratitude to all who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you for this video and your awesome voices.
My beloved father and my uncle both served in the army during WWII. My uncle survived the Bataan Death March. I am so proud of their bravery and so very grateful for them!

Pressure makes diamonds and that war produced many. I have been blessed with many of those diamonds shaping my life and remaining in my heart. With tears I say thank you.
They truly were the greatest generation
What a nice tribute . . my dad enlisted at the age of 20 after the attach at Pearl Harbor. He was in the "Battle Of The Bulge" which started on December 16th 1944 and he lived to be 96 1/2.
What a beautiful application for this song. Lovely singing. ❤
And just when one would think that you guys can't improve on the previous performance, You up the notch way higher than before. Wish I could express it all in better words. Thank you and God Bless. Greetings from South Africa.
What a beautiful job!! Thank you. My absolute favorite piece you have done!!
It is nice to see young people honor this country and those who served. Thank you.
Thank you to ALL men and women, your families, and those loved ones for your love and sacrifice to this country.
If you have not served, please consider donating your time or money to show your thanks and appreciation. It does help.
Thank you.
I cried, so beautiful and poignant. You guys are amazing ... we owe so much to that generation and must retain our respect and belief
Thank you from France and the sacrifice of your G. I. Forever in our memories and in our hearts... ❤❤❤...
Lifein3D I just want to say you guys are "AWESOME"! What a touching, heartfelt tribute you have made. And thank you so very much for including my husbands father, William Harry Harrison Jr., in your beautiful tribute. Scott and I watched and were overcome with emotion. We both just sat on our sofa and wept. We have watched it numerous times and every time we are so moved. So grateful for all the men's and women's service and so grateful to be included in your beautiful offering of song. We love the thought that William Harry Harrison Jr. is now forever memorialized. And with that I would like to add some specific history about him:
William Harry Harrison Jr. was a Staff Sargent 12th Marines. He served in the Marines from September of 1942 until January 1946. He was in Guadal Canal, Bougainville and Guam. He got malaria in Guam and was sent home to serve in Corpus Christi before he received his honorable discharge in January 1946. His unit went onto Iwo Jima so if it had not been for malaria, there is a good chance Scott wouldn't be here today.
William Harry Harrison Jr. who went by, Harry, he was on the first day landings in Bougainville and Guam. He spent 56 days on the troop ship Crescent City waiting as a reserve troop for the invasion of Saipan. He received 3 Bronze Stars with the Asiatic Pacific Campaign metal. (His picture is the 2nd one shown in your video and William Harry Harrison Jr. is the 2nd man from the left 1st row)
Beautiful and very moving tribute, especially given we are on the precipice again. May we all awaken, and choose peace on earth instead. 💙
Oh my goodness! What an absolutely beautiful song and visual clip to go with it. I am in Australia but like all of us all over the world I have the utmost respect for all of those brave people that fought and died for us. Very, very well done!
As a Navy Veteran myself, this touches my heart. May all the Veterans who have died rest in peace.
Extremely moving kids! Don't forget we sacrificed 58 thousand-plus in Vietnam....................:(
What a wonderful tribute to our braves. It takes 3 young persons like yourselves to remember never to forget. Thank you my friends.
That was so beautiful. So many of my family members have represented every branch of the service from my father in the army, my son in the Marines, and my grandson in the Navy. Many family members in other branches as well. Thanks to all who have served. Forever grateful for your sacrifice to our country.
My late grandfather who passed away nearly 7.5 years ago at the age of 90 was a training officer in the black watch regiment (in Scotland) during the last 2-3 years of WW2. God rest their souls
Thank you to all who have sacrificed to keep our country the Land of the Free, the Home of the Brave. May we Never forget.
My Dad was among those men who stayed gone from home all of those years. He was on of the fortunate who did come home. So many did not. Thank you for this. We miss them, but look forward to being reunited in God's time.
Well said
Beautiful............My great Uncle James Richard Hawkins died in this war. He was a fighter Ace. His time was up and he decided to re-enlist, sadly his first mission, he was shot down.............Some gave all...............Salute!
My father was a WW2 vet, had two ships sink under him and he is passed, you helped me think about him and his service and all those who served with him.
My husband's uncle, Claude Eugene Doty, paid the ultimate sacrifice on Nov. 20, 1944. Though we never met him, we still honor him to this day. Thank you for this very moving tribute and thank you to all who have served our country.
We are sorry for your loss and are so grateful to all those who gave their lives
Excuse me...what???!!! I've never imagined this song done this way...amazing!!!!❤❤❤
My Dad was in India and China, my husband’s Dad at Pearl Harbor. Their brothers were at Pearl Harbor and European theater, one flew the Hump. Thank you for this tribute to them.
Thank you so much for this video honoring our beloved veterans, my father in-law was in War World II, and I had a great man to remember. And all of the veterans of different races and colors. Love USA 🇺🇸
Agreed, so much thanks to them!
😢 so touching. My Dad was in the Army Air Corps . He had the dangerous job of a tail gunner, under the aircraft. His best friend, Lewis Smith, had the same position under

Thinking of my Dad who went directly from medical school to serve as a medic in WW2 to help many a wounded vet on the battlefield - maybe even some in this video. Thank you to every service member who gave of themselves so unselfishly in their service to our country. 🇺🇸 ❤🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
Thank you for sharing this beautiful song and story! My own Father was in WW2 and retired from the Air Force with the rank of Major. I’m so grateful for his service! I am grateful for you definitely sharing this! Mark in Iowa.
She is absolutely beautiful!
A beautiful tribute to all who have served. My dad served on the USS Wisconsin, WWll.
Thank you for using your talents to remember those who fought and died for our freedom. My Papa was Navy UDT (early SEAL program) in WWII. He was one of the first to use the bubble head suit and trained many other divers. I know he wasn't able to talk about most of what he did but the stories he did share were amazing. I miss his smile, his big hugs, his never-ending stories, and his love for gramma. He will never be forgotten. Thank you for giving me this moment to tell others how much I love him.
Beautiful, thank you for sharing some of your special memories of him
That was so meaningful and beautiful. Daura has yet to realize her beauty, power and potential.
I was glad to see Daura sang the main part of the song, she has such a beautiful voice, we need to hear more of her !!
Thank you kindly for using my dad's pictures. He just died on May 3, 100 years and 7 months old, and seeing his photos brought my tears again. Thank you for all the heart and soul and love you put into your tribute. I love your voices Daylon, Daura, and Devon.
