Indeed Costa it does burn very hot so I'm thinking of making a damper to calm it down a bit but as you say for rapid boiling its a cracking little stove Like all alcohol stoves its always a good idea to use a windscreen to stop them going horizontal 😉 All the best brother to you, CJ, and Sam Roo

You buy alcohol sometimes also called methylated spirits from a DIY store which you simply pour into the stove body. Then a spark or flame near the surface of the liquid will ignite the gases as they evaporate and it will burn until you snuff out the flame or all the alcohol has been burned 👍

What a crackin little stove! That would also be good for the family BBQ to keep stews warm at the table kinda thing too.
