Yeah, it's only possible to make this kind of stuff in Ableton. You can use Logic but Logic is more focused on Tech House and Vocal House. I'm pretty sure FL Studio is only for making hip hop and trap beats so you'll definitely need to get something else.
I can vouch for the Fader Pro course. Probably the most useful house specific coarse I've taken. All killer no filler
Agree, I'm about half way through but it's an absolute bargain. A no brainer for anyone who produces in the deeper end of the house pool.
