"Dang dude, didn't know you were chill like that"
I learned this lesson early on in highschool in the early 2000s, if you can do a backflip on it, you got the respect of all the skaters.
Don't worry you'll get that backflip one day
That's cool, I didn't want their respect. I just wanted to flip
i could take my friends car then =D well once its axle gets fixed lol

Scooter hate just exists because of kids not paying attention and therefore risking the lifes of everyone else.
Which is a totally fair reason. Also the scooter riders at my local park have caused more injury than any other demographic because all they do is hit the bowl without looking and they end up running people on boards over. I wish my park would put a no scooter sign up for the safety and comfort of the skaters
@@ThaRookStar It really is! That's not being mean or anything.
its hated because its significantly easier than skating and completely ruined skateboardings reputation
@@alexhardy373 scooter kids ruined skating's reputation? what the fuck?
why do they hate things that are easier? that's one of the dumbest mentalities i've ever heard of. bunch of salty ass crabs in a bucket dragging each other down.
They ride those damn things with no flow whatsoever
Something I never thought I would see. A skater crying about someone not following a sign
"if you're doing back flips, you're good" now thats what i call respect
i think the guy at the beginning just didn't want y'all to get kicked out or in trouble
it was real sweet of him to come up to u guys and compliment u

It wasn't the same skater what are you on about hahahahaah
@@bensam101it was, rewatch the video. The guy with the beard, long hair, and beanie is the guy that said something along the lines of "did you see the sign" and then cut to them doing tricks, wherein that same skater comes back and says something along the lines of "if you can do a backflip you're good" before giving a fist bump.
There were quite a few jump cuts so I can see why you might've thought it wasn't the same person, I had to double check myself because I wasn't certain. But yeah, it was.
should of told him to f off instead of shaking his hand
sounded chill ngl he said "ey you see that sign right there ight?"

Takes a real man to admit defeat
Nothing about defeat, just earning respect. Skaters don't actually listen to signs anyways, just keeping who don't belong out (people who are there just to roll around and be in the way)

What could possibly feel good about having to earn the respect of a smelly deadbeat that skates all day and thinks he runs the place
yeah but why should i care to earn their respect, if i’m bein judged by someone before they even see how good i am i don’t want their respect

That retraction is literally the definition of skate culture.
That skater was really chill. He was respectful just pointing out the sign that says no scooters but when he saw you pulling off crazy tricks he was all pumped up lol
That’s because they took the drop in seriously. You get insane very or go upside down and land it, they will definitely be excited. Heck I’m sure they’d love to see some serious fruitboot or roller skating. It’s just 99.5% of blades, skates and scooter tricks are simply variations of bending over and touching your feet or going backwards.

@@commenteroftruth9790 I'm just guessing but probably has to do with scooters being more casual and the skaters don't want a bunch of slow scooters getting in the way at a park like this with a lot of obstacles. But if you're doing stuff like this no way anyone would care. Idk I'm not a skater but just a guess.
Scooter kids are the worst.
@commenteroftruth9790 The amount of children who's parents drop them off at the skatepark thinking it's a playground is crazy happens constantly super annoying and they do nothing but run around and get in dangerous spots where they could get hurt that's why there weird about scooters as usually it's children on them not guys like these lol
