    The phrasing of this question is a little tricky, but I'll try to make it clear in the first try or the second try of the question: 1> When setting the upper and mid radius rod length, do you have to turn the center relative to both ends (right hand thread and left hand thread ends) or if you get close, can you then turn one end an extra half turn one way or the other if needed?
    OR 2> To try and be more clear: When you turn the center a half turn and hold the ends fixed, the total length increase is a half turn of the screw at one end plus a half turn of the screw at the other end, so a half turn of the radius rod gives a full turn of the screw length with just half of it being at each end. If you needed to get that little bit more length than what a half turn of the radius rod center can give you: Could you just turn one end a half turn without moving the center or the other end or would that cause problems?

    • @GLifeUTV
      @GLifeUTV  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes once you are close. You can adjust a half turn on one side if need be👍

    Take a look at the XMX frame inserts. They make reassembly of the radius rods a lot easier and fix the alignment issues cause by the ovalled or out of spec bolt holes in the frame. I have the same suspension as CeeJ on my car and did the entire job by myself. The frame inserts make the rear end easier and reinforce the frame.

    • @GLifeUTV

      Lube and a press.. make sure not to push on the center section or it will get damaged. U need the perfect die or socket to use around the exterior of the radial joint. They are almost impossible to not destroy removing from the old arms. So buy new ones

    Great video! I wish I could have watched it before I installed my LM-UTV radius rods, unfortunately stock radius rods were all bent so I had nothing to reference against...took some trial and error. My LM-UTV lower radius rods rub a little bit on the frame (on the bulge that comes out for the toe-link/center radius rod), I'm curious if you will have that issue.

    • @GLifeUTV
      @GLifeUTV  Před 3 lety

      We were informed of that possibility by another viewer.. apparently thats why lmutv redesigned there rods recently. Tim told us some zrp dog bones might space them out enough. So they are on order 👍... Thanks for the input bro.. appreciate it🤠🍻
