    I really appreciate the very detailed install video… I bought radius rods from another company that has no written install, and no video install instructions, but about 1000 videos of them dude-bro’ing it up. It would be great if everyone supported their product like you do. I will be back for your products and support in the future.

    Sounds like i need to find an alignment shop fast. I couldn't figure out why my x3 was turning to the right so i adjusted my front to allow me to drive straight. My old rods were mangled up to take any measurements an i purchased used squeeky ca tech rods

    Are the chromoly rods as strong or stronger than the bullet ones?

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  Před 9 měsíci +1

      4130 is stronger than billet aluminum radius rods by roughly 20%. But the billet rad rods are way over built and don’t fail unless you directly hit boulders with them.

    How is that a double shear plate?

    • @grantparnes
      @grantparnes Před 4 lety +1

      I was wondering the same. Seems like a double bolted to a single. Still in the big picture a single?

    • @s2pointoh
      @s2pointoh Před rokem

      It’s a double shear plate with the other bolts tightened. If there were only one bolt, yes, I’d agree.

    Do the tire shops know to never adjust the lower link on the car when you take it to them for final alignment???

    Does it make a difference if I tighten up the rear plate bolts when the car is sitting on the ground?

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  Před rokem +1

      Nope. You can tighten that any time. Just don’t have it too loose when you put it on the ground. The cars weight will try to move the rods around.

    So what do you recommend for my front end it’s been set by an alignment shop at zero should I toe it in or out ? It’s a little squirrely as is .
    little bit or out because it’s a little Squirrley in the front end

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  Před 4 lety +1

      We have found that 1/4 inch toe in front and rear is the most stable.

      There's nothing wrong with CVTs. They've been around for a long time and they have made them work very good and work great. All you have to do keep them clean and maintained and you'll never have an issue. At least on a CanAm

  • @s2pointoh

    You guys should spell shear correctly. It would give me confidence that someone there has an engineering background. Otherwise, looks like a great product. I just bent one of my OEM radius rods and these are at the top of my list. 👍
