What’s wild about bo2 is EVERY gun was useable in their respective subclasses. Sure the m8 and msmc were slightly better than everything but you could use anything and compete against them.
That's why people remember that game fondly. Nothing like a balanced shooter.

@@ShaunGotFans Me too , i play many titles and i came to codm in 2020 and i thought it was like pubgm but its better than pubgm (i knew hw gunsmith works but br mechanics was very confusing ) i play it till today and the meta thing its ACTIVISON and TIMI playing with us to use their favourite weapon or too buy legendary skins they put in the game . they milk mobile gamers a lot

I remember in Black Ops 2 I had so much fun when the FAL-OSW was overpowered with select fire. It melted all the enemies.

My vote for BO3 goes to the pre-patch Vesper honestly. One of the most fun guns I’ve ever used in Cod, super high fire rate and laser beam accuracy, that thing absolutely shredded people.

I agree. I remember looking at the stats in the beta and just from that you could tell it was the best gun in the game. The fire rate being so high and the damage being average, and the accuracy. I think it was the first cod weapon that broke the rule of guns that have high fire rates must have low damage.
Still thought the PDW was one of the coolest weapons in COD, especially love that reload animation

Tec-9 is definitely the most broken gun in Cold War. Pre patched, that gun was INSANE
That and the Marshall, That shotgun pissed me off so much

The pre-nerf Stoner early on was pretty busted too
I know the 1887s are frequently mentioned as overpowered in MW2 (and they definitely were) but I think people forget how ridiculous the Spas 12 was. You could one-shot enemies from absurdly far away and it was never nerfed
Hbra3 insanity was by far the best variant in the game. Coming from someone who had the obsidian steed, speakeasy, inferno, among many others
Bal royalty imo was the slapper
@@TheCarbonhead I preferred it over the obsidian steed for sure. Still would take the hbra3 insanity, Arx hole puncher, and imr impact over it. I’d rank the royalty/inferno 4th best variant though
At the start of the game the Obsidian Steed was the best but as Bal got nerfed the Hbra3 was unreal
ok so are we really gonna ignore the arx hole puncher. That thing was the mosty broken gun in the game lol. But i have alot of love for the insanity.
@@richied10 i had it. it was amazing and could one burst up to like 50 meters. Imr impact had an infinite one burst range though so statistically was better

Man the ACR was my go-to in MW2 as well as MW3! I was so disappointed we didn’t get it in MW2019, yeah I know u can “replicate” it with the Kilo but it’s not the same.. They HAVE to include it next year in MW2, I can’t even wait for that to release, I just hope the fact that the ACR is no longer in production has anything to do with it not being in the game
If they made these games with intelligence I'd be worried about that but Activision doesn't give to soggy farts about realism...the bizon (bullfrog) being in cold war was ridiculous

BO2 FAL is insane and will always be. Also the pdw57 is still great as an smg. Still competetive

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. An SMG with the capacity of an LMG, the range of a sniper, and the damage of an assault rifle. That thing drove me absolutely nuts during MW3’s heyday

At the stingray, you showed the titan, and for the as Val gameplay it was warzone, no idea what went wrong

honorable mention: Trench Gun from WW2
with dragon’s breath rounds. The thing could already one shot but dragon’s breath just made you the biggest killing machine in the game.

The thing is back in the day the majority of people weren't even aware of ttk and recoil on guns it was just a fun arcade shooter where you choose whichever gun you wanted
I actually got the obsidian steed when I was younger so it took me a couple years to realize what I had just been graced with
I felt like people forgot about this, but what about the Type 95 rapid fire😂😂 from MW3? Or FMG9s pre-patch? Those two guns I remember definitely when people raged so hard in game chat😂😂
Even though the Tec-9 was nerfed, it's still pretty OP. I see everyone using it still.
honestly the msbs is still pretty good, it’s recoil is easy to manage and if you hit chest and above it’s almost always a one burst

Blacks ops 2 Peacekeeper before the patch!!! Bro that thing was taking on and defeating Scar , an 94 and M8A1 and that thing was a sub machine gun- AR hybrid . Literally everyone was using it. Game at that time was Called Black Ops Peacekeeper if you bought the DLC when it dropped lol
I actually got lucky with the obsidian steed, never liked the bal though. Preferred the ASM1 (I believe that's the smgs name)

BO4's S6 Stingray was so OP that it even camouflaged itself as a Titan LMG.
Man I swear I didn’t notice the PDW-57 nerf. I used the PDW through the BO2 life-cycle and wrecked people with it the whole time.
MW3 pre-patch Type 95 was super over powered, pre-patched Striker too
The FAL prepatch was definitely BO2’s most broken gun

Post- nerf PDW 57 was still dope. I had no problem killing AN94, MP7 or MSMC users.
Just slap laser sight, grip and maybe long barrell if u need it.

The TEC-9 STILL dominates the Cold War meta even after the nerf! I feel the pre-patch EM-2 was leagues above it tho

For me I think the ASM1 speakeasy variant was the most broken gun in advanced warfare. That gun helped my get a 2kd which is the highest I’ve had in a cod game.

Man i wish i could get that MW2 edition. I remember back in summer of 2009 watching Robert Bowling unbox it. I ended up getting the Hardened Edition back in the day but yea thats one of my fav special editions i think COD ever dropped.

I still have my NVGs from my Prestige Edition of MW2. Still work as well.
I have to give it to the Model 1887. Imagine getting sniped by akimbo shot guns. I have been around since MW and I have never experienced anything quite as powerful as the Model 1887. There are some that come close but getting one shot from range with a model was infuriating. If you can’t beat them, join them.
People forget how OP the snipers in bo2 were. Insta melt from breathing distance to across the map.

I think the bal was the most ridiculous one compared to what other weapons we had in AW + ive never heard a cod been renamed to the name of the gun "Bal of Duty" before or ever after AW

Reason: This gun has 0 recoil and has insane fire rate, also this gun has good damages too. But after S10 update, the damage are nerfed, also the recoil.
Also to mention 3 tap SMG and ridiculous strafe speed

MW19 has too many broken guns that took too long to get patched (725, M4, MP5, Snakeshot magnums, AS VAL), and some of them were pretty much unaffected by the nerfs
I kinda think the svo from call of duty advanced warfare is a good choice one shot good sights (for me anyway) you could put advanced rifling on it to somewhat increase its aiming speed and a single con (from what I’ve played) the reload it took forever but you could extended mags on it 🙃

I got both BAL variants and both HBRA3 variants as well as the AK12 RIP really early in the game. Boi should have played the lottery with that kind of luck.
When I was 12 I randomly got the Obsidian Steed on a free supply drop, at first I didn’t know what it was so I thought “cool”
Now I realized how broken it is

I remember getting the obsidian steed as my very first variant. And right after that I got the speakeasy. I was still young and didn’t play competitive at the time. But I’m revisiting the game.... even after the nerfs I see how crazy strong the guns where.

Didn‘t notice the cold war tec nine got nerfed, it’s still way too powerful and outclasses every other smg
I understand mw3 acr was goated, but shotguns need an honorable mention with the extended mag bug that give it twice the amount of pellets. If you ran damage with specialist and got your 7 streak, it was a gg with any shotgun, but the striker was just unfair, even after the nerf

Not a lot of people know this but they secretly buffed the PDW it was kinda hard to notice I don’t remember exactly what but it could have been the range or the aim down sights
MW3 it is clearly the MP7 for me. With a silencer on, you got work done at short and medium range

Even after the patch of the tech-9, it was still easily my favorite SMG if not my favorite gun in the game 😊

i remember playing aw at my friends house. i just started the game. maybe level 36. each level gives an advanced drop and i got the asm1 speakeasy and bal-27 inferno in the SAME drop bruh. i have a screenshot aswell.
