the millimeter scanner on cod bo2 was amazing cause you can see and shoot through walls. cant be one to forget. target finder is also really good. acog scope is great for sniping on any gun
Honestly my favorite optic of all time was the Ghosts version of the thermal. It at least felt like it had no scope sway in thermal mode, and if you needed to go close range you could always switch to the built in red dot. It wasn't the best weapon, but the SVU with a suppressor and thermal felt buttery smooth when I got used to the recoil. And it kinda slapped on lmgs.
Some may not believe me... but I NEVER used the Target Finder on the LSAT. Actually, I don't recall using any optic on it (all I cared about was its built-in ammo counter, handy in Hardcore mode).
Well, I do the same on almost all LMG. and not just BO2, literally in every cod game that I played I almost never equip any scope to the LMG. Probably because the zoomed sight picture made the recoil more noticeable compared to just iron sight

to this day the mms fal on bo2 pc is busted to unbelievable degree. you rock that setup on hijacked or nuketown 2025? you're dropping 100+ as long as you got a heartbeat.
Elo should be up there for sure, but I thought for sure Ghosts Thermal Hybrid Optic easily takes the number one spot. It was all you ever ran into, there was no reason to chose another optic over this one
Siege is still the worst map in COD Ghosts. I played MW2, BO, MW3, 😢 BO2. I never had a team death match go the time limit until Ghosts and it happened on Stonehedge, Stormfront, and Siege. The maps were too damn big.
Nothing will ever beat a good ol red dot or ELO sight. Hands down the 2 best optics in cod history
