I also have Vb3m on my ipad and everything sounds wonderful without those pops. Try changing the latency and sample rate to one or two values above in the settings. It will disappear. Don't worry about the latency delay, it will still not be noticeable.
Ron - I don’t have the VB3m loaded at this time, but the app may have a “MIDI Learn” for the GUI Expression Pedal. I use a Roland EV-5 connected to my Edirol PCR-800 keyboard and that works fine. Merry Christmas!
I have this and found the same issue about raising the overall volume on a different keyboard.. I like the sounds, though I dont get any pop using it on the yamaha modx.. but I have to bring the other volumes down in order to bring this volume into line, so instead I am going to try Blue3, it seems like it has a lot more control and sounds as well just for 29.99, I hope you give it a try to see what you think.
Ron, I just came across this video (good playing BTW). I have a basic question (seeing little of your hardware setup): Have you tried the Expression Pedal (CC11)? I’ve used Guido’s VB series clones since the beginning and the first thing I do is map an Expression Pedal to the app. I’ve logged many hours over years with the VB3 & VB3 II (been an organ player since 1969).
Hello Ron. Thanks for your video. I am a newbie to all of this hookup. Basic question to start: what is the dongle you have from the iPad to another wire(black)? In watching other videos I saw that it was “recommend “ that an Apple -type cable be inserted in the iPad Lightning/Thunderbolt Jack? Thank you kindly. And, do you know why that type dongle is necessary?
The dongle is a lightning into the iPad with the other end a usb A female adapter. My black cable is a usb A on one end that plugs into the adapter and a usb B on the other end that plugs into my keyboard.
First of all, great video! I’ve had the app for my iPad for about a month but something is driving me nuts…when I go to download a program from the cloud service, there’s supposed to be a Store button but I don’t see one!!! Any help there?? Secondly, been thinking about getting the CP73 or 88. How do you like it??
Hello Ryan. I haven't tried downloading a program so I can't help you there. As far as my CP88, I love it. One of the best gigging keyboards I've ever had. User interface is great...no deep diving through windows. The action is nice and the variety of sounds are really good, especially the pianos and EPs.
Hi Ron, how do you do to play organ on iPad without jack connection between the iPad and the sono ? Excuse me for my English, I'm French. ; best regards. Fred
I love your music on the cp88, you can use the mod lever to control the usb input volume in the cp88, just set this in the setup and save this setting to one live setup : czcams.com/video/PtvCJAtf7_4/video.html I use this quite a while and it helps to control the input level very easily, if you use the usb as an input device the the cp88.
Love it. Great sounds. Thanks for sharing this.
And Magic Carpet Ride. Great music. Thanks
Teasing me! Loved green eyed woman. And Three dog night song.

Thanks Sergio! I will certainly try this.
yeh same here...I haven't experienced that either. Ill tell you what, in my opinion that sound is as good as any clone out there.

I have not tried that expression pedal. Have a great day!

Hello Fred. My iPad is connected to my CP88 at the USB type B connection on the back.

Thanks for this information. I’ll give it a try.
Thank you Klaus. I set it up and have the output I need. I appreciate your help!
