TSM does have potential to get up from bad finals, noticed that whole routine they had in scrims, barely was used for the past competitions each day. it was like, they are not rotating into zone as soon as possible, they engage into fights when they didnt need to, shuffling into different legend comps (like wtf hal is not on bloodhound for the first days???), staying in the corner of heat walls. TLDR they didnt stick with their usual style this time 🤨

As an og TSM fan, I actually do think TSM needs a roster change. Idk who would need to go or what needs to change, but clearly the team isn’t trying as hard as they could and should have done better. TSM should have changed legend composition way back during scrims, despite hal getting better at bloodhound through scrims, when you are fighting against top teams from around the world, with most of them already well versed with bloodhound's abilities, they should've formed a composition to tackle meta composition. 2 or 3 years back there were only few legends to pick from, there are so many ways to counter blood bang caustic meta, im disappointed that raven didn't do anything to tackle their downfall.
I think hal mightve had better success sticking with his comfortable picks. As a last ditch effort they switched reps to lifeline when he has years of experience with Gibby.
I think its more important to play legend that you enjoy playing with rather than following trend , or to work hard to find one's own footing.

Please, watch the TSM Vod. Reps was the one outperforming Hal and Verhulst this tournament. Reps is the last dude to be dropped with how the whole team performed.
Koyful won't even be able to fill Reps role because they play differently. Three fraggers will only cause the team to die early because they don't have a good defense.
You act like 3 rollers would suddenly make it better despite Revenge Winnity (the team that won) were all MnK.

Just because he outperformed them both in 1 lan still with a 17th place finish doesn’t mean he can’t be replaced with a controller player, controller is way to op rn. Defense would be fine they play edge anyways. Apac is just different regardless of 3 mnk or not the mechanics of those players are on a whole different level. Plus with Hal’s aggressive calls wanting to fight a lot 3 rollers will actually do ok.

I'm not 100% sure I understand this comment, but if I got it correct. TSM didn't win a lan till they got raven, they were constantly getting top 6-10
@@Temper_apex They won Split 1, with the current roster, Then hired Raven because Hal didn't want to the macro anymore. That was his response when he was asked at the time. Plus he had won quite often to allow TSM to give Raven a contract. Best IGL and arguably top 3 controller player in Evan and probably the best support player in Reps. That's a coach's dream
@@soldiers360 they signed raven in 2022 before the year 3 algs split 1 playoffs, which was in February 2023. That was their first algs lan win. They did win an online playoffs in year 2 split 1, but it wasn't a lan.

I dont think TSM won't try to sign Raven, but if they are cutting back on Apex the contract they offer Raven might not be what he wants to accept. If he gets a better offer somewhere else he probably takes it.

Personally, I feel like it was expected TSM would flop at this LAN. Since the Blood/Bang/Caustic Meta they just took so long to find their rhythm, and honestly even when they played well the passion wasn’t quite the same vs DZ throughout this year. It’s impressive they floated this far off of their usual game plan, but they just need a real goal to climb towards. Not Meat Lovers Red Rams contest bullshit, but actual lobby destroying mindsets. DZ threw this LAN way harder. TSM didn’t really show up this weekend at all for me
