@@tspfab7309we all know there is aim assist. However there are clearly different leagues of aim assist abuser. Koy rn is sitting on the very top in terms of abusing aim assist(mechanics). They are also many other controller pros who cant pull off something that koy does regularly. That alone is enough to inspire people to grind their roller aim. If u wanna talk about mnk aim, i suggest u go else where and check out the new guy demon1 over at valorant, or monesy over at cs etc etc. mnk is pretty much dead here on apex.
Im so happy for Koy and XSET. I think his team with Doop and Lou wouldve been really good, but the XSET roster now is insane. Nocturnal is elite and so is Fun. Excited to watch them in ALGS

These kids are so lucky to grow up in the era of gaming. People used to laugh at me when id say i wanted to be a pro gamer.
I feel the same. I was always given crap for playing games and told I was wasting my life. Now I am too old to keep up with the reaction time of the younger generations. BRs at least let me compete with strategy but in the end aim and reaction time rule all.

Thats why all this young peopl improve so fast not becouse of just beeing born with it they get in with a freshmindset and are willing to work hours and hours on there aim

this is what good aim + aim assist creates, a literal aimbot. dude does not miss a single shot ever, in other games this is what people describe as ragehacking. As a mnk player this is not inspiring but makes me wanna quit the game although I do have imense respect towards what this guy has archieved
Surprised they haven't tired leaning the aim assist out of it slowly. Kinda how fortnite did. Yeah its still there just not as much. I don't play apex so I can't give an input on how it would effect control aim
Would he have good aim without aim assist? Nah. Would he have good aim on M&K? Nah.
He has just grinded enough and takes advantage of every small benefit the assist gives him. Pro scenes who have pros using controllers put me to sleep.

@@szycho yeah but in rocket league there is no such thing as aim assist, both inputs are in their raw form and controller is the better and easier input, in apex without aim assist MnK would be the better input by far but because of AA controller is better. Its like if rocket league would give Mnk players a bigger hitbox so even tho controller is the better input MnK will be used by the majority of pros. thats why apex is so flawed, in my opinion if you want to compete you have to adapt. Apex in its current state is like giving a sprinter in marathon shoes a 2 seccond headstart over the sprinters in sprinting shoes because he is handicaping himself. so everyone runs in less optimal shoes and it ruins the fun because everyone is running way less fast then they could.
Aim assist makes the game so boring in my opinion. Long rage feels stupid, 99% of fights end up being an smg ape battle. If AA got nerfed the entire meta would change. Different hero’s would be played more, gun fights at long/mid range would be more important and close range would be way more engaging.

There's one thing I came to realise from playing this game for the past 4 years you either got it or you don't see I know my biggest weakness is having good settings I mean I've must've changed them about 150 times it's kinda annoying it's crazy how you see everyone else literally have no recoil in guns and I must say again I have been playing since this game came out hit masters 4 seasons in a row

I’m happy for the kid but at the same time makes me sad and desmotivated to play the game, as someone who always enjoyed playing games like cs on the highest skill level(not competing though).
I wish someday I would see apex with a more raw aim pro scenario, cause mnk can’t compete with roller right now, there are just too many factors that affects your aim on mnk no matter how good u are, that controller aim assist just removes it.
Before any roller player says that i'm crying, i'm comparing both inputs on the high tier scenarios. Cannot debate against facts, on roller u should design ur play style around the aa so u can exploit it on max potential, while on mnk is just u and u opening space to incosistency.
Controller players have no place to even make an argument, they know they would be absolute trash without aim assist and the ones who don't are delusional. Pros have switched off M&K even though they have played that way their entire life and are better on controller 500 hours in. It's sickening these devs make aim assist so strong to begin with but what makes even less sense is that these eSport league managers think that an uneven playing field should be legal. This problem is bigger than just Apex too.
I agree 100%, if I put 100+ hours on controller i would be at least 30% better aimer that i'm now playing on mnk for more then a decade

Controller pros play MnK and are hardstuck plat.
MnK players move to controller and hit pred asap.
To be the top of a small less difficult pile is not as impressive as being top of a far more difficult competition - which is what apex used to be.
That's not devaluing anything, it's assessing the level of skill a controller player physically can attain. What are the reflexes he needed to get there. which is probably less then half that of an MnK player.
