the Katar is such a greedy move. You have to purchase the main weapon, purchase the unlocks and you cannot equip/buy the one you like coz you have to purchase the previous component and not unlock the ones you like. I HOPE PEOPLE will not puchase the katar and EA would just stick to the legend heirloom that has more character and more story. That katar is just blank without character like the ones running EA. play the game, dont pay for that heirloom.

@@cpenner7086 depends what you wanna do. you cant use alters ultimate to push into a fight (unless a team ends up being near your ultimate device). so yes, its a superior version for leaving fights, but not for pushing them. also ash is the worst legend in the game so its not exactly a high bar lol

They do two completely different things and if you really want to exit a fight with ash’s ultimate it might’ve been more useful to use it earlier on Ash’s ultimate can help push a squad or get a creative position to catch your enemies off guard while Alter’s ultimate doesn’t contribute to a team fight at all, it just offers a way out if you end up losing.
They should make it so on one season it's solos and on the next it's dues, most people can 2v1 really well but 3v1 can be absurdly hard even when the team you are facing is trash if you are not at least Masters material.
The devs act like it's impossible to have all 3 options. They just can't stand ppl wanting solos that they wanna punish us for bringing it back. They don't want to admit ppl like it so they will hide the data by getting rid of solos all together. There is no logical reason we can't have all 3 options. They HATE doing what ppl like. Can't stand apex anymore bc of those scumbag devs

It’s unfortunate the way they’re doing their monetizing with the katar. It reminds me of valorant and how they do their “skin leveling”, and depending on how much the exotic shards are, the katar could be worse than that. Her ultimate seems very good for premades in ranked. Say you take control of the top of a building or hill and there’s a team down below. You push, take them out then just ult back to your position up top

Breach and clear. Caustic team holding choke point in building? Counter caustic ports in drops ult, and either ports out or you could follow up with a gibby to force the other team out or into cqc. Additionally pushing from the top of buildings is now viable.

She creates a major opening for her team into virtually any scenario yet also is completely vulnerable if the push goes south. Because people can follow you through your portal it means she isn’t an escape legend, but rather an ice breaker or gate crasher. She breaks stalemates. That’s her in a nutshell.

I'm sure someone is going to set up a trap end of her ultimate. The enemies that found her ultimate before she used it or the enemies will follow her with her ultimate and will get trapped by her teammates. (Like a Ash portal but with Death Totem, you can see it where to it, and everyone can use it.

Whats crazy to me, is that I have images and I think a video somewhere from S4 where you can see deathboxes through walls, exactly like you can with Alter, I always thought it was a teaser for Loba, but none of my friends said they'd seen it before, and that it wasn't a teaser, must have been a bug. Crazy how so many legends have been in the works and partially leaked in that mega leage in S1.
I’m just imagining a team ash portal-ing up to high ground and then using alter’s tactical to drop into it - she seems like a lot of fun, but frankly, as a wattson main, I’m scared
I don't think a good team will use ash and alter together. They'll probably use rev conduit and alter. They'll still do the same thing as you mentioned. They'll get height on a building and push from the top. If anything, i think wattson might be a good counter as long as you're using your fences properly. You reinforce the inside with fences crossing inside as an X, alter will be less likely to push since they'll just portal into fences. They'll need to clear them out before pushing.
i think alter might actually be a good teammate for wattson, the loot stealing is useful if youre bunkered up late game, and you can build a spider web of fences around the tactical (when youre kidnapping an enemy) and ultimate (to protect against people chasing you through the portal)

Honestly what I am most excited for are the Crypto and Ballistic changes. I like playing definitely not meta characters, and the Ballistic changes will allow him to have an actually good 3rd weapon outside of ult. For Crypto, can't wait for a speed boost charging in on people after an EMP (plus free new passive of calling out squads in an area just by pulling out the drone).
The Katars are a greedy bad joke. You have to use 150 heirloom shards to get a plain katar with no frame, banner or anything with it & then you have to spend £40 or 5 seasoms worth of passes to be able to get the unlocks. Not only that, but you have to get the katar upgrades in order; so if you wanted different pieces from different katars you would have to spend a small fortune. People's argument that it's a f2p game is so dumb. I don't mind supporting the devs, but these katars have been badly implemented & it's just greedy.
I hope they've done something to prevent teaming, not sure how but maybe they've come up with some way to do it. One thing that has improved since S2 is the game balance so this time there'll be more than just Wraiths and Pathfinders.
This is the type of video your channel needed, ive seen you for a long time but the way you made this really got me interested. When its just gameplay its really boring because i dont eant to see the game, i want to know the content. The good thing about leaks, they get everyone out of the confort zone of content creation.
Alter’s ultimate is going to allow a team to hold a strong position, yet still push aggressively and potentially wipe another team while being able to safely return to strong position quickly without being exposed to third parties. Seems like the ideal use of this ability imo
I kinda like the fact that the exotic shards are gonna also be in the BP. I feel like being able to complete a Katar for free may take longer, but will bring a major sense of achievement. Plus, it makes having an heirloom a lot easier to get.
8:19, finally... something I longed for them to add, this is simple but will change alot as an ash main. I still want them to increase the ult range tho, 70m is too short, a 20-30m increase is already enough as her ult's a one way only and it's buggy to cast. That range increase alone can make for a agressive sniper gameplay
Her tactical seems so insane now u can basically push players batting at a door instead of taking the time to break the door and its so fast too so ur basically dead if u have to heal behind a door and an alter is there to push u

As someone who has not seen any leaks but have seen faide's gameplay of it, I appreciate the video and the style you did. I think what you did was a good amount of gameplay/showcasing. I would recommend a little more depth whilst talking about things that cost money like cosmetics, because that's what a lot of people look forward to (myself included). Otherwise great stuff, my guy.
So the one thing about the katar melee so if you can buy any of the items whenever you want and not be a limited collection event then even though its more greedy system at least we aren’t pressured to buy it before it’s gone and can slowly get it over time and that to me is a big win for us not that i condone the price gouging it’s just nice to see you can slowly get a piece here and there
I'm sure when I use Alter for the first few matches imma have no idea how to use her. But, I will figure it out somehow. Her tactical kinda reminds me of the giant rift at singh labs in kings canyon. Like whenever u go in from the top to the inside of the labs, ur kinda in this phasing state for 2 secs.

I hope that they start making legend specific heirlooms again since they have kind of a separated avenue for the katars/universal heirlooms
Competitively, it allows an IGL to play any legend and still be able to roam/scout cause if they get caught out they can just port back

People's argument that it's a f2p game is so dumb. I don't mind supporting the devs, but these katars have been badly implemented & it's just greedy.
I hope they've done something to prevent teaming, not sure how but maybe they've come up with some way to do it. One thing that has improved since S2 is the game balance so this time there'll be more than just Wraiths and Pathfinders.

Alter’s ultimate is going to allow a team to hold a strong position, yet still push aggressively and potentially wipe another team while being able to safely return to strong position quickly without being exposed to third parties. Seems like the ideal use of this ability imo

I kinda like the fact that the exotic shards are gonna also be in the BP. I feel like being able to complete a Katar for free may take longer, but will bring a major sense of achievement. Plus, it makes having an heirloom a lot easier to get.

I still want them to increase the ult range tho, 70m is too short, a 20-30m increase is already enough as her ult's a one way only and it's buggy to cast.
That range increase alone can make for a agressive sniper gameplay
Her tactical seems so insane now u can basically push players batting at a door instead of taking the time to break the door and its so fast too so ur basically dead if u have to heal behind a door and an alter is there to push u

As someone who has not seen any leaks but have seen faide's gameplay of it, I appreciate the video and the style you did. I think what you did was a good amount of gameplay/showcasing. I would recommend a little more depth whilst talking about things that cost money like cosmetics, because that's what a lot of people look forward to (myself included). Otherwise great stuff, my guy.

So the one thing about the katar melee so if you can buy any of the items whenever you want and not be a limited collection event then even though its more greedy system at least we aren’t pressured to buy it before it’s gone and can slowly get it over time and that to me is a big win for us not that i condone the price gouging it’s just nice to see you can slowly get a piece here and there
I'm sure when I use Alter for the first few matches imma have no idea how to use her. But, I will figure it out somehow. Her tactical kinda reminds me of the giant rift at singh labs in kings canyon. Like whenever u go in from the top to the inside of the labs, ur kinda in this phasing state for 2 secs.
also the newcastle wall might be sick you can throw grenades from it while with wattson you have to leave the pylon
