It is lost. The U.S aren’t going to help. The question is how much can they save. The best course of action is to ally with China for now and give them whatever they want in exchange for your freedom in the sea. Suck but there is really nothing else they can do at least in the next 10 years. Long term though they can get stronger as individual nations and make an ally among themselves to rival China.

Long before... it is us Filipinos (Austronesian decent) who were the real people of the sea surrounding Philippines (from the time of Sulu Sultanate to Maharlikan Kingdom)... that's why we have people who were very much dark skin toned due to long exposure to sun light at sea... to a point where they were able to evolve and develop a mutated lungs that has much larger air capacity than the usual land dwellers... they were able to walk and fish on the seafloor using spear without any aid of floatation and breathing devices... The big word evidence here is "They EVOLVED" ... meaning... this has been going on for a long long time... (featured on National Geographic Channel)
While you white skin toned China people ...on that ancient time period.... wouldn't wanna go down the Mountain valleys because you pretty much enjoy the comfort of cold weather on the upper High Lands of China... that's why your skin is poreless and white ... that is caused by your body's adaptation to cold weather similar to other people who experiences winter in their homelands.
So.... DON'T GIVE US THE NARRATIVES THAT... CHINA & NOT THE PHILIPPINES... ARE THE LONG STANDING SEA PEOPLE WHO WAS BEEN FISHING AND NAVIGATING THOSE SEA WATER ...AND THE TRUE OWNER OF THAT PORTION OF THE SEA... BECAUSE THAT NARRATIVES IS CLEARLY FAKE, FALSE, & DELIBERATE MISINFORMATION FROM CHINESE BOT.

Just to emphasize further. China’s claim like the 9 dash line in the South China Sea has no basis under present International Law specifically the EEZ under the 1982 UNCLOS law which China itself was a signatory to it. Moreover, as the video stated this territorial dispute had already been resolved in favor of the Philippines by the United Nations Arbitral Ruling but China refused to recognize it because according to China it claims historical rights to the disputed territory.
If we follow this ancient historical rights argument of China can China then claim parts of Korea? Or Vietnam? This territories were occupied by China during the Han Dynasty in ancient history. Or can China even claim Siberia and the Central Asian countries like Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan.…etc. since this too were territories occupied by the Chinese empire in past history.
If this historical rights argument by China will be given credence then Mongolia has a legitimate historical claim on China too since Mongolia ruled China in history under Kublai Khan. This is why ancient historical claims are absurd and must remain as that….ancient. But the truth of the matter is obviously the plain and simple bullying by a superpower to a smaller country due to the bully’s greed to expand its territory.
Psychology experts are truly correct in saying that bullying is the result of the bully’s insecurities. And China’s historical claim to this territories are not only ridiculous but also insecur

The place called Ayungin Shoal, a submerged reef located 194 kilometers (105 nautical miles) off Palawan islands that is within the Philippines' exclusive economic zone.
Still, China is asserting its claim over the reef despite it being 1,285 kilometers (694 nautical miles) from Hainan, its southernmost province. it is china itself that lights the fire for WW3, they don't want war but their actions are inciting war It will become a reality if the Chinese fire the first shot.

Vietnam and ASEAN countries should develop abundantly contagious and deadly biochemical weapons, suicide UAVs and long-range cruise missiles that can carry both biological and conventional weapons to go deeply inside China territory.. At that time, even there is no US or Russian intervention, China would not dare to attack Vietnam or some Asean country.. The biochemical weapons could easily destroy the entire population of China which is around 1.4 billion people . .Bio-chemical weapons are easy to develop in large numbers in a very short time and it's not expensive to develop in a large quantities. It is an effective deterrent against China's superior military power and aggression. At that time, we can tell directly to China that if China dare to attack Vietnam or any Asean country, any of these countries could easily wipe out the whole China population..

The Philippines is not intruding or not even made a violation in their actions, the shoal is located inside the Philippine EEZ. The Chinese is the one violating the international law of the sea and the claim of China has no concrete basis, the Chinese signed in UNCLOS agreement in 1994 which embodies all the nations to have their own share in the said ocean. The Chinese also said that their reason is the inherent, it is also has no basis, this ocean has been used by all the nations since the very beginning through exchanging their goods known as the barter trade. All nations near the spratley islands has the rights to claim because of their traditional fishing since the very beginning. Their the one who first swim and fish in the early morning before other far countries like China to do their fishing. So any reason of China to claim their rights has no basis. It is only a work of covetousness and greed who claims that the entire ocean is his.

It is worth noting that since the end of WW2 (for 78 years) the US has been keeping a close eye on China via numerous military bases from North Japan down to the centre of Australia; during this time the Chinese productive force and economy has grown like topsy. No wonder the CPC is developing it's defence forces at an unprecedented pace, it has a lot to defend and good reason for doing so; China's rapid progress, it's majority share of the global market and increasing global influence is admired, envied and feared to varying degrees by many so called advanced nation states. South China Sea issues are best dealt with by China and its neighbouring states, the US should just keep it posturing distance.

Instead it acted like a thief and it’s now complaining that the little brothers bought in backup.
