It’s so important to keep letting newcomers to the space know that buying the latest and greatest will not make you better. It will help but it won’t replace actual practice or skill.

Great advice. I bought an a6700 last November. I went down the whole a Series line, but my personality can't handle not having features on something that another one does. It's more camera than I will likely use, but I live in the "I might" zone. Keep teaching.
