For the last 3 months I’ve filmed just about every video on this channel with the Sony ZV-E10. So after 90 days of consecutive use, I'm answering the question, is this a good camera?

Thanks for this video, Larry. I just got this camera yesterday and I admit I was a bit nervous when I saw this title. I thought, "Yikes! Did I make a mistake?" :).
I only plan on doing mostly talking head videos, so I am still happy I purchased it. As a retired teacher, the FX30 just wasn't in the budget! LOL.

This camera is great for talking head videos! In my opinion, the FX30 would have been overkill. Most of the videos on my channel in 2024 have been filmed with this camera if you want more references to quality.

Yes, I figured with the money I saved from purchasing the e10 over the FX30, I could use for lenses, gimbal, etc. ;)

And what lenses do you recommend for fitness workout videos (steady shot/tripod shots) for stories on IG, Facebook, Tiktok
Thank you! If you're not sold on the current model, I'd wait for the specs and price of the mark ii to be released. If it's similarly priced with better specs go for the upgrade. If the price jumps more than $200 stick with the mark i or go for the a6700.
As for lenses, I like the 16mm - 24mm range for everyday use. If you're going to do more vlogging, the 11mm looks nice. I usually have the 16mm on 90% of the time.

Great Video. I have been using this camera for all my mortgage videos, and I believe it is awesome for the price point. I am going to add the A6700 and move the ZV E10 to my 2nd cam. Had the A6700 when it first cam out, but sent it back. I regretted it. So I am picking it back up just for the colors and image is a little cleaner than the ZV E10.
Thanks. I agree with that decision. If you're moving around, this camera isn't the best if you want more stable footage. a6700 is an excellent choice.
