I recently purchased my first camera ever, the Sony ZV-E10, and if you're a complete beginner with using cameras you're in good company.
In this video, I share what it looks like to get your new Sony ZV-E10 set up as a beginner content creator. This camera is great for anyone who is looking to get into content creation, photography, videography, vlogging, and just about any other type of content you might want to create.
Every other video out there is from someone who knows what they're doing, so that's why I wanted to share this perspective. I am learning everything from start to finish, so you should join me!

Friendly comment, the +2 on the screen was the exposure meter not the white balance and there are some cases when u need to set it to + or minus depends on what u r shooting , example if what u r shooting is too bright the camera will try to adjust to 18% gray so ur footage will be under exposed to force the camera brighten it to the right exposure you will the the exposure meter to +1 for example. the opposit will apply if u r shooting dark scene.

It's kind of nice to see a beginners video where there's a beginner on both ends of the lens. I'm assuming you were already good at talking to camera, from your football channel. The concept is a useful addition to the content out there.
I am comfortable in front of a camera for sure! But it’s all been iPhone cameras up until this video.

I think this camera is a great beginners camera. It's also my first ever camera (not including the point and shoot disposable cameras in the 1990s lol) and after 15 months I've become very comfortable recording content with it. I picked up an external monitor for it since the screen is so small and my eyes arent what they used to be lol.

Oh btw you can still get blurry background with a lower F stop. Its all about DOF (depth of field) The higher F stop the lower your DOF :)

Since we are beginners as well, we had a question. At the end you give advice on the settings for the sound, but we noticed you are using a wireless microphone. Will the setting have to be different without using an external microphone? Many thanks in advance.
It definitely would! There is a display option that shows your audio levels. I would suggest using that one and mess around with it until you find the input level that works best for your needs!
For some reason I a unable to click pictures from my ZVE10 which wasn't the case when I bought it. I clicked something I guess and disabled the setting. Please help me
Hope you make more of these videos, I have the same camera with its Kit Lens.. The 16-50 isn't wide enough for my studio so I'm just grinding with it till getting maybe the Sony 11mm

rolling shutter isn't a big problem especally for CZcams videos. Its there but as long as you're not swinging your camera all over the place, you're fine @@itsstrez

It can absolutely do all of those things.

These days it what most of us can afford, we cant go out and get a Grands worth of camera..... so we make do with this or the Canon G7X mk2
