Your doing really well with the leon mate . Really am proud . Your putting me to shame 😮 im going to start doing few more things to my leon in summer time and hopefully we can get a meet up
Hey Gav! I just built up a bunch of issues I should have sorted ages ago!! 😅 The summer time is the ideal time to get stuck in, something bout the weather and sun just makes graft like this a little more satisfying. And yeah mate, would be awesome to get a meet up with any loyal followers and supporters of the channel 💪🏻😊
i have a question about my mk II leon it has gotten a problem theres water in the left side of the trunk not alot the carpet is a bit wet and there is water right under the carpet i had the problem before and it disapered when i changed the tail lights and its come back just not as powerfull as before the taillight change any idea of what it could be? i checked the seal around the trunk and thats good and i doubt its the tail lights so any idea?
I was going to suggest the tail lights as that's the most common issue. The only other place is the hose for the rear washer comes off sometimes and sprays water into the boot, so maybe check that it still works as it should. Maybe there's a small chance the seal on the rear of the replacement tail lights has failed now as well. Hopefully you can find the leak 🤞🏻
@@NorthCoastWorkshop i cant really find anywhere it could be comming from exept the gasket between the wiper motor and the glass there is a tiny bit of rust there im either gonna get a new gasket or a wiper delete kit didnt get to check the tail light but it doesnet seem like its from there and if checking the taillight and replacing the gasket/wiper delete kit doesent work then my guess is the window is leaking unless you can think of something else
Window area really is the only place left so yeah worth checking there. Last option is to completely strip the trim from inside the boot area and sit inside the boot with a torch and get someone to spray water all over the back of the car. Maybe you can see where it's coming in from.
@@NorthCoastWorkshop yeah i have stripped the inside trim i can move the rubber gaseket and the wiper motor so it could be that i can send a few pics of it on instagram

@@NorthCoastWorkshop im suspecting it could be the trunk window or the 3rd brake light but i will try to investegate
