The door sill stickers are just a handful of things from eBay. Carbon effect door sill stickers, a Cupra sticker, then in my instance a VW Golf R sticker 👍🏻

Is your one a UK spec car? I think some different versions were available depending what countries sold them. UK cars didn't offer the Cupra R with side skirts from the factory sadly.

Zero would be too thin for the engine. The first number is how thin it is when cold, and at zero, older engines wouldn't have sufficient protection when starting cold, and components would wear out extremely quickly. Newer engines have been designed with tolerances to handle thinner oil, like 0w20. Having 5w30 in ur engine means once ur up to operating temperature, the oil is thinner than if you had 5w40 in at the exact same temperature. Hope that makes sense 👍🏻

@@NorthCoastWorkshop I only just bought the car and put in VW 507 - 5w30 because it was the most common result when searching which oil I needed, but now I see there's a VW approved 507 - 0w30, so I'm thinking there seems to be only positives in choosing the latter next time. But I've got plenty of time to think about it.

I'm not too sure I'm afraid. Are they genuine SEAT led taillights? I take it you mean the bright brake lights up lit up even when the brake isn't activated? So the bright and dim rear lights are working back to front in a way.

Yeah the armrest design was a strange one, but it definitely looks good and is handy to have. You spec'd a £100 investment back then 😂 they're silly money nowadays!!! 🙈 And excellent points you made throughout Rob. As for sound I had a much better clip of it popping a little more and sounding a bit more aggressive, but during the edit I realised I hadn't recorded any sound 🙈 so a last minute clip from my NC500 road trip where I was revving the Cupra in a car park 😂

That's a very strong combination, but I'd suggest the following.... If your car is running standard tune/boost then a revision G is perfectly adequate and definitely an upgrade from the C or D revisions. If you have a tuned car or plan to tune it, and increase the boost, a GFB DV+ will be the perfect upgrade, make sure u buy it from a trustworthy site, and it can be combined with the solenoid of your current diverter valve, no matter what revision it is, as long as the solenoid part is working. It's not necessary to buy a upgraded diverter valve as well, just to rob the solenoid from it. Hope that helps a bit 👍🏻

D has a plastic piston, it probably has a pressure leak at the beginning in the low rpm range. Dv rev. G is an old version with a rubber piston - they are tight but are often damaged. I ordered gfb dv+, I will mount it to my rev D and I will share information on how it works. Best Regards😊

​@@NorthCoastWorkshopI need your help. I installed dv+, there is a significant improvement in acceleration response. The problem is the "foal:-) " sound of the air being released. Such psssytytyty! Does it damage the turbo rotor? I don't know if I can drive like that?

It's just the way they operate and the sound is a product of how they sit in that sweet spot for better response. My one does it and I've just gotten used to it, but if it's something you can't live with day to day, a standard DV may be the only solution. There's arguments on both sides whether it is fine or does do any damage to the turbo. I have had no issues whatsoever for the past 3 years of mine, but that's not me offering any guarantee for other owners I'm afraid.

If they stay on for 5 seconds consistently then turn off I'd say that's the cars electronic system taking control of that.

I'm not sure on the other specs you listed, but as long as it states the 505.01 spec for your TDI, that oil should be fine to use. 507 would be for your engines fitted with a DPF which I guess the MK4 never had

I think the 205 TD was placed way up the leaderboard out of sight!! 😅 Maybe a stage 2 and I'd have a better chance!! 💪🏻

@@NorthCoastWorkshop NEVER use regular petrol for making a 2 stroke mix. I have damaged 4 machines in the 2 years, that I have been using mixture made with regular petrol.

Thanks mate 😁👍🏻 And yeah the 1.8's aren't talked about as much and have limited mods available. A pretty much standard practice for a little extra power from any Turbo engine is a free-er flowing exhaust system, air intake where universal, made to measure, or adapted from a 2.0 and "made to fit", with a remap done on the car afterwards. If u have a reputable nearby tuner with a rolling road, they should definitely be able to get you a good few extra BHP than standard. There will be a limitation to what the internals of ur engine can handle, so if you are looking for big gains, a change of engine is the next expensive step sadly.
