If that is the case you kinda have to think that those species who are there and are in close contact have made certain type of rules and alliances. They have to have somekinda agreed upon systems in place so it's not unneccesary hostility when they come in contact with other way older species. Especially the oldest ones who would have the upperhand to reprimand would most likely have the overpowered tech and be evolutionary became smart enough to see that violence usually makes problems. Great topic.. In my early days, I lived in Boulder Colorado.. One Fine day, I was heading home on the Boulder-Golden road.. Long story short; I witnessed a copper cigar shape craft, hovering towards the Rocky Flats Nuclear Plant.. I turned the car around so as to observe this, UFO.. I could hear the commotion and see some workers,too.. I have wanted to share this experience but never found the right 'ear'.. Don't worry, there is other life out there...

E.T. is the best! I love it so much! I was 6 years old when it came out. My dad took me to see it over and over again, it was such a special movie for us. I cried at the end and he would have to carry me out of the theatre everytime. It touched me so much as a young child, and throughout my life. I still watch it to this day and love sharing the experience with my children and grandchildren!
My father passed away a few months ago. I had a heart necklace made that says "Dad" on one side and "I'll be right here" on the other.
Thank you for this movie Steven Spielberg, it's so much more than just a movie for me and always will be! ❤
P.S. I agree on no sequel. It's perfect how it is.💗
