Alright, who glued Beast's beard to his coat?
I really loved Beast's personality, but as you put it, his story really felt quite rushed. He could have been so much better if they had taken the time to flesh out his character a bit more especially in act 1.
Also thanks for putting out such high quality content on such a niche genre on youtube.
Thank you!
I really wish Beast was fleshed out! He is awesome! It’s inspired me to play a funny pirate swashbuckler dwarf king in many crpgs now!
I like beast a lot, wish his quest was lengthier though.
Beast's quest made me wonder if Lucian also got duped by some god king agent into using death fog against the elves. The plot is very similar in nature after all. One of the main reasons I find lucian so hard to trust in the end
The Red Prince was once asked about a hypothetical combat scenario. His response was so smart that the Shadow Prince took note of it, pulled some strings, and that *directly* resulted in the Deathfog being dropped.
Fantastic video, yet again!
I knew he was a keeper when he whipped the bird outta his beard to the guard lol
What a Beast
🤦
Hold up, his real name is Marcus Miles? That sounds like a comic book character's alter ego. Mild mannered dwarf by day...
Isn’t that black Spider-Man’s name?
Sony stealing indie dev character names smh
How can you say Beast didnt have much in Act 3.....He found Fran lol
🤦
@@MortismalGaming all jokes aside, i enjoyed Beast in my party just not as my main. I did a lone wolf playthrough with Ifan as a Ranger/rogue using bows, pole arms and daggers and beast as a cleric. The difficulty was breath taking. Best game imo.
I'm with you there. His whole attitude and writing make him a great companion to have along with you
I've just escaped the joy with beast as a ranger and I love him so far (playing a custom elf necromancer with beast, red prince and fane)
But now I'm seeing stuff about his quests being a bit lackluster, I'm considering swapping him for sebille. Thing is I didn't realise the other companions would become unavailable and I have invested in a lot of skills and have no money left. Is it worth switching? Or should i stick with beast?
Do you think they will ever get around to finishing/releasing fallen hero's?
I'd say if they don't have some other huge project after BG3 they'll probably pick it back up. A lot of the work was already done and it makes the most sense financially to do so unless they have some other out of left field announcement to make like BG3 was
Beast could’ve been a lot better. His story isn’t bad, just feels like it’s in the wrong game. It barely ties into the story. Felt like he was one good tie-in or quest away from making sense.
