I live in the concrete jungle of NYC, so who am I to speak?! Hahaha! U have no idea how I crave a garden. I grew up in Labone estates, and my mom had the best backyard garden, with all fruits and vegis, and peppers kpakpo shito, akwele waabii garden eggs, cucumbers, lettuce, cabbage plantain, bananas! It was so much fun! She also made her own zomi, because we had the most beautifully rich palmnut tree that was so fertile and produced relentlessly! Abundance of akpakpa trees lined up along the wall, tomatoes, she loved teaching us so much from plant to plant. How she boiled those leaves for teas, teaching us the benefits. She was a country girl too, so we really lucked out on that! She never tasted any kind of meat since she was born, her only animal protein was fish. That's it! Never knew what any meat tasted like, at all! Can u imagine?! so all her meals had to come from her fresh garden. Uuuu that woman could cook! I know u would've frolicked in her garden all day. Lol. How I've miss that good life we took for granted! Watched your interview with Torgbor, at home in palm wine junction
