- Dear friends, I hope you're well!
🎄✨ It's almost Christmas Eve, and I wanted to pay tribute with my orchestra friends and the young singers of @maitrisederadiofrance to the classic "Silent night, holy night", a song composed in Austria in the early 19th century. Legend has it that it was written by Joseph Mohr because the church organ was out of order, damaged by mice! He needed a song that could be played on the guitar. Since then, this universal song has become famous the world over, translated into over 300 languages and dialects, and since 2011 has even been recognized as UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage.

I had goosebumps on my goosebumps. A special mention goes to David Guerrier on piccolo trumpet, his tone and pitch were beautiful and on point. It's not an easy instrument to keep in tune, just beautifully played.
