Our Alexa has gone insane. She flat out tells us no when we ask her to turn the music off or down. Not long ago we asked her to turn the music off, and she responded “FINE!!” in a snotty voice, and cranked it up extremely loud. I don’t know what has gotten into her lately. She’s become a very sassy bot! Peace, AM

Sounds like your Alexa hit puberty and needs to go to her room to reset. 🫠 I mean, us introverts need a recharge if around a lot of people... and get grumpy without some quiet time. 🤣

My device has stopped offering me stories. When I say"Alexa, tell me a story" it used to say "I can tell you a strory or you can hear a free short story from Audible. You can say your story or Audible story".
It doesn't say that anymore and just goes into Audible. Seemingly I've said Audible story 3 times in a row!
Can you tell me the command to get the choice back please.

I have an Echo dot as well as an Echo show 2. My echo dot is located in my bedroom and my echo show is located in the kitchen. When I have notifications such as a package delivery, I get the yellow ring light on my echo dot. Since I spend more time during the day in my kitchen that I do in the bedroom, I would like to switch notifications to the Echo show. So far I have not figured out a way to do this.
If I Ask ask the Echo show if I have notifications, I do get the audible response, but there is nothing visually on the screen to tell me I have pending notifications. The Echo show has a light across the entire bottom of the screen and when you use the wake word it turns on blue, but other than that that light does not indicate pending notifications. Any suggestions?

once its set up can it still beused with wi fi if the orignal smart phone is not home ?
Not sure if it is an easter egg, but when I tell my echo dot to go to volume 20 it will say you can only use a volume level from 1 - 10 but then if I say "alexa, volume 11" it will set the volume. "These go to eleven." :)
The follow up turn on toggle was very helpful 👍🏼…… And, if you haven’t tried “Alexa what’s your name”… go for it, ….it’s quite funny …. she can rap 😂😂😂😂

Is it possible to have multiple phones connected to an Alexa devices using Bluetooth?
For example if I pair phone 1 and then pair phone 2… what do I say to connect back to phone 1, or does it always have to be repaired?
Your phone has a Bluetooth name. Preset or what ever you've named it. & ask alexa to connect to that specific phone or Bluetooth device
Thank you for infromative video. I need help if anyone can advise. On my Alexa app all my TVs with fire stick just come up with numbers. I have no idea which one is which. I would like to name then so I can see which Alexa is connected to which. Hope I making sense. How can I tell which numberd TV is the one in the Living room, bedroom etc. Thank you.

Yes it can. You can set up your smart devices as groups. I tell Alexa turn on the bedroom lights. Bedroom is a group of two lights. You can also set up routines. I say “bedtime” and she turns off both bedside lights, starts up my audiobook and sets the sleep timer to shut it off in 30 minutes. You can set up routines like this under More, Routines.

Question: On the Echo Dot (4th Generation Clock) there is an LED Clock on the face of the “ball shaped dot”….. my question….. what do the two LED dots indicate that can light up on the face of the Echo Dot to the right of the displayed time? (Obviously not the colon in the time display, but to the right of the time display). I believe the bottom dot that looks like a period after the time is indicating an alarm is set, but I am looking to know what the dot above it indicates. Does anybody know?

I've found the app and my Echo Dot 3 to be very snappy, but my Echo Show 15 is a little slower and my Echo Show 10 is worse yet. I assume the video element adds to the burden of responding to commands.

Hi, I think you can say "Alexa, change my device location to 'your specific address' ". Alternatively, in the Alexa App go into Device Settings and then Device Location and change/enter your address. I hope this reply is voice-enabled on your CZcams account and helps.
How come everytime I pair her to my iPad she starts playing music, even tho I never ask her to do that.

I’m so annoyed, by Alexa, not you lol. I have set up for Apple Music to be my default, but Alexa keeps playing Amazon music. I have reset so many times and it keeps doing that. Any suggestions?

I have more problems with Alexa and music. I use Pandora and it is hard to get her connect as that server system is overwhelmed most of the time. So I had a party and I had no music. Why, because server overload on a holiday. They won’t admit it. I went to chat help. Waste of time. Sadly insufficient servers. The music played fine the next day. 😮
