- This week we were wondering if Turkish made rifles still represent good value?
To answer this question we are taking an in depth look at the Reximex Meta. This rifle is one of the newest models entering into the Reximex range. It features a variety of adjustable components to get the best out of your shooting.
As you'll see in the video we did have some issues with the accuracy of the rifle to start off with... without giving too much away we did get it to be very accurate with one simple solution. Watch the video to find out how.

It's all down to the barrel clean. I had to clean the barrels on my Reximex Regime and Pretenis 20 times for them to group tight. They are both very accurate now. For some reason, Turkish rifles always have dirty barrels and need a good pull through.
Yep 💯 correct Mark
Rock solid proof that cleaning gunk out of a barrel improves accuracy dramatically.
The "an airgun barrel does not need cleaning, I've been shooting 267 years and I've never done it" still walk amongst us though 😅
I enjoy the calmness of your videos in allowing the viewer to think and consider what is being said. No music is brilliant. Didn’t like the rifle; but that’s irrelevant. Thank you guys.
I’ve seen a lot of negativity for bsa recently. However I’ve seen positive guns from British and Turkish suppliers alike. Basically….if your gun works for you then love it! Haha
Another informative video, thanks guys 😉👍
good video guys and great follow up! well done 👍
Very informative guys. Great review. Just heads up for other reximex rifles pretensis loves jsb heavys and h and n baracuda hunter extremes, plus baracuda 8s, Reximex Ixia jsb 4.51 and aadf 4.51
I’d like to see or hear your opinion on .177 vs .22. What you preferred individually and why. Thanks guys. Great as always.
THX for meeting the metta meat !
I’ve got an Ixia that wouldn’t group very well, cleaned the barrel throughly, tried a lot of different pellets and still didn’t get great results. On a whim I tried turning down the transfer port adjuster to about 2 thirds and lo and behold the grouping tightened up completely.
Turkish gun needs a thorough barrel clean due to the grease they shi e in the barrel for storage rather unfair grouping test..would be good to see a group after cleaning. 18:51
Hello, which one is better to choose: Tron 2 or meta plus? thanks for the answer
Hi, which one is better to choose Thron 2 or Meta plus?
Very pellet fussy try jsb exact 8.44. Everything else was all over the place.
So if they are so bad why do you sell them?
JSB pellets every time 4.51
JSB Exact: I tried 4.51 and 4.52 in my TX200 with uninspiring results. The 4.53 however are brilliant.
As ever, your mileage may vary...
Just got a Lyra Pellet on Pellet 🤔
My Lyra arrives tomorrow 👍
No such thing as pellet on pellet, actually it’s impossible. If you really want to know how to test your gun, your pellets of choice and your own shooting capabilities just ask. You might be surprised at the outcome.
If that's your aim point then shooting high ummmm
Non sai sparare!
Dodgy barrels...
Just full of anti corrosion crap
It’s not just about barrels, many more variables to overcome than just the barrel.
No,just needed cleaning.
