- This week we are going head to head with a little bit of friendly competition. A shoot off to knock down 5 cans with very cheap springer rifles.
The rifles chosen for this shoot off are the SMK XS19 rifles; you can get these on our website, we also offer them in a custom kit the 'Rat Buster'.

PS . We need to see a shoot off with pistols next . 👍👍
Best springer video for 2024 so far!
Good lads . Brings back my childhood in the 60’s ,shooting pegs off my mums washing line😂.
Yea different times , i had the police round my mums for shooting next doors weather cock on his shed roof , all the copper said was turn it boy , go up the woods with that 😂
I was really disappointed it finished; great fun guys 10/10.
Brilliant. It was as much fun watching as you were haveing shooting.
Great video gents. My two favourite activities: plinking and competition.
My observations.
* When competing against the clock you still need to get a steady sight picture and squeeze off your shot. A hurried missed shot is a pure waste of time. (I'm a pensioner AKA slow creaky old git but remain competitive.)
* I have 12 ft-lb rifles in .177 and .22. You can shoot an empty aluminium can with .177 and it will barely move as the pellet sails through. Not a lot better to knock over if you fill them with water.
* If you want to knock tins over, use .22 flat nosed pellets (RWS Hobby work for me but Vermin Pell, JSB Diabolo Match Jumbo and Swiss Arms Flat all do the job too). We have evaporated milk in our coffee which comes in steel cans - better to knock over than aluminium drinks cans. 😀
Good job guys, do it again with pistols. (Easier to knock over the cans with lower muzzle energy.)
More ! with different rifles ?! Great fun.
That looked a lot of fun, nice vid guys, Jackel Jets, still got a tub of those.
You enjoyed it! Think we enjoyed it. Stella is known as wife beater in the North, should change that now, to DAD beater
Very entertaining guys, what a great video; really enjoyed it.
Great fun, more stuff like this please 😁
Nice too see you pair having a bit of fun.. Super vid
My choice of budget rifle would be Weihrauch 99S if the pennies stretched that far
Loved that BRILLIANT 👏
That was great chaps!
That looked great fun! Well done.
Loved that really enjoyed it 👍
Good fun
Fibre optic open sights are a bit overrated in my view, for me a fibre element on the front sight is okay but particularly with the inexpensive ones I've tried the rear sight dots aren't symmetrical so the 3 dots don't line up precisely and the rear element can wobble about. They seem less robust and more susceptible to breakage. Plain jane 'iron' sights that are done well and preferably made of steel are better but molded plastic bits are inevitably cheaper and can still work well.
Awesome love it...👍
That was great 👍
😂 great fun
loved it.. :0 ) snatching the trigger a bit there..?
:-) LOL
Try table tennis
🤣🤣🤣
Don't see the point in cheap shit springers wheres the comp between the best break barrels?.
