  • Have you seen the new laminate stock versions of the Kral NP02? They are very nice! But, should you spend more on a new laminate stock?
Laminate stocks are typically more durable than walnut stocks, which can be beneficial in terms of longevity and resistance to changes in humidity. Additionally, laminate stocks often have a more consistent and uniform appearance.
With the laminate version being relatively more expensive than the walnut counterpart the only difference is in the stock itself. As far as we can tell there haven’t been any upgrades to the action of the rifle.
It's worth noting, as with the walnut version, the NP02 Laminate shoots great, is very accurate, and offers a large shot count, which are important factors to consider when evaluating the overall value of the rifle.
Ultimately, the decision to spend more on a laminate stock comes down to your personal preferences. With no gain in performance, it is simply about the aesthetics… Want to turn some heads when you take your rifle out of the case? Then maybe the laminate stock is for you!

Considering most air guns are black, it’s nice to see you’ve dropped the black polo shirts so we can actually see what the guns look like against a light background 😄👍🏼

No one ever mentions that the length of pull is adjustable, if they do they incorrectly tell you to losen the grub screw underneath the stock! No this removes the stock. There's 2 allen key grub screws near the butt plate adjustment button. Undue these a bit then the but plate pulls out on 2 dowels. I can't believe this has got past so many reviewers, this rifle is excellent in walnut but wouldn't spend the extra for the pistol size laminate.

Yes, it does come down to personal choice, but as it is I am very happy with my Kral NP02 walnut stock. As Peter knows, I don't think he had got back to the motorway before I was on the phone praising it. Testament to the original owner looking after it, yes, it was pre-owned the way to go if it saves a few bob 😉 I also find my NP02 is as accurate as my R10 and R12 only thing I would change is the butt it's a tad longer than I like 😊

I reckon all the windless conditions in your range are ruined by Dads talking 😂

Personally I prefer the blue as it looks like the blank has been cut on an angle (slightly) to enhance the look

You can see why the NP02 ( in all it's guises) gets recommended as a budget rifle when someone asks, getting a bit of a cult following.. Excellent vid lads, though a good clean / trigger fettle / and a, selection of pellets would have reaped better rewards on the accuracy

I fancy one of these but I prefer the wood stock myself.

Puts a lot of rifles to shame , Possible you could have been even more accurate with best pellet choice , pellet weighing and cleaning , barrel clean and leading in if you didn’t already do these ? ,and no distractions .Unless you are participating in a competition why would you need to be more accurate than this ? Excellent shooting bye the way !!

We cleaned the barrel and had a few shots to check accuracy during zeroing, and the rifle did perform better than what we could get it to do with the pressure of the cameras!

These feel great in the shoulder but these turkish rifles are cheap and feel cheap. The cocking is clunky, the accuracy is acceptable but not standout. I'd say they're alright fot the price but once you've shot something premium you won't want to go back. But i have to say the laminate stock is horrid imo.
