You are Brilliant !!! A woman in my 70's, my closet looked and still somewhat looks , like a drug store .. every thing you could think of to try to at first get rid of fine lines and now wrinkles . I found , as you say , the more junk i used like retinols , acids etc , the worse it got. Horrified at the aging in my skin in only 3 yrs, I stopped most of it . Today, in only a few short months, I have turned around much of the damage; do believe in the magic of something natural.. goat milk !! got 2 great moisturizers .. and loving them, slowly getting rid of all the rest. Thanks for an entertaining, informative and truthful video .. loved it !!!

Acne is typically the result of a combination between eating an unhealthy diet that disrupts hormonal balance which promotes inflammation, and microbial infections.
Some of the skin issues that result from this can be mitigated by the skin barrier but most of today’s modern skincare products contain things like preservatives, which destroy the barrier and immune system.
So in my opinion, both diet and skincare need to be cleaned up.

I stopped wearing sunscreen. After thorough research, I have found that non-burning UV radiation is essential in PREVENTING (skin)cancer and other diseases, such as Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimers. Furthermore, sunscreen disables the process of "acclimatization" of the skin, which means that the skin will become more prone (defenseless) against future, unprotected UV exposure. Resulting in a higher chance of getting a sunburn and thus melanoma.

@@wanderingman5516 The maker of this video actually did make exceptions on acne prone skin -people going to a dermatologist and the necessity of sun screen because of the ozone layer being somewhat ruined.
I think I have the normal skin type, and if I didn't have hormonal acne caused by pcos (not caused by oily skin), I would not for example need a moisturizer. I had a long time of getting very few breakouts that quickly went away, but when I started to use a supposedly good for acne low pH cleanser to avoid even those, it very slightly tweaked my skins balance drying it just a tiny bit I guess because I had no itching, just a slight feeling of my skin being not as "comfortable", but because before I never needed a separate slather of product, I didn't realize should have done that. Now I have acne scarring to fix and have switched to micro biome fixing cleansing oil and micellar face wash with probiotics in the hopes that they won't mess up my skin moisture barrier and good bacteria again.
I also avoid moisturizer because they surprisingly often contain comedocenic ingredients despite claiming they are good for acne. If I had dry or oily or sensitive or atopic skin, then buying some more products might be necessary, but basically I think what she's trying to say in this video is that the skincare industry and somewhat corrupted individuals with not enough integrity get too much money out of fooling us to think we often need every single thing😒
A dermatologist here on CZcams says you don't need a moisturizer if you have normal skin, because normal skin means your skin barrier is intact and won't be easily disturbed, and unfortunately some cleansers are made so they are meant to be used with moisturizer afterwards to fix the things it takes away.

My experience: I did not use any product and washed only with water for 1.5 month. My skin improved, I learned a lot, BUT my forehead is still more oily then other parts, and pimples and comedons appeared there. So I decided to use an acid peel, it didn't help. I started to use ubtan but was concerned about its exfoliating effect, so now I'm using my face cleanser in evening. Actually those pimples are quite depressing, I am not very sure that total skin fasting helps it. So why skin is irritated then..? I eat fine and drink a descent amount of water. To me it seems like some bacteria provoke this irritation. I'd appreciate a lot any advice... Also, are you saying that touching face with hands is a bad thing, or just touching it when it is cleansed?

Wash your face with warm water and clean hands gently massage during it. Do it a couple times a day to produce natural oils. Don’t let your face touch you pillow case when you sleep. And eat really healthy because you can’t outrun an unhealthy diet. No products on the face and patience

    • @Lorrainej1174
      @Lorrainej1174 Před 11 dny

If you put products in your hair try to stop that too and just scalp massage and run fingers through hair to spread natural oils. Do a face mask with nizoral hair shampoo to get rid of fungal acne on forehead or scalp but then discontinue everything else and wash with water and don’t forget massages to stimulate oil production

Sounds like rosacea. Not too much spicy /or hot temperature food or coffee. It can be hereditary or even mites !! ...can have different causes so maybe Dr can help. You could try the free things like less spices first, then if it doesn't work see Dr.
Ps don't use too hot water to wash face...keep temperature mildly warm.
Even stress can make mine worse...

Your outsides reflect your insides, bad skin is indicative of bad health and nutrition.
I have (well "had" now I guess) oily skin, but now I use no cleansers or moisturizers, the only skincare that I use is a mineral sunscreen, and I have 0 pimples on my face. Apart from the days that I apply sunscreen, my routine solely consists of rinsing my face with water. Beforehand I was eating the proper nutrition but the skincare products that I was using were the causes of my persistent blemishes.
Skin can naturally exfoliate and moisturize itself. You need to give your skin the chance to self-regulate, be cautioned though it may get worse before it gets better depending on how bad your nutrition or how extensive your skincare is, there's no such thing as instant gratification, once you abstain from skincare your skin will adapt and produce the optimum amount of sebum to lubricate your skin and seal in moisture without leaving it greasy if you give it time.

This is awesome and hilarious. Not only that but the new expensive skin lasers that came out cause red veins and they didn't even do anything different to my skin, and then they have the needles to put on the face that can cause red veins and permanent damage (lines, scars ect)to if you aren't careful. I have had issues because of these products, and dropped all of it afterwards. I never had bad skin to begin with I was trying to maintain it and it caused all kinds of damage that didn't even exist prior to it. I had no red vein nothing! None of it is worth the damage! Its over hyped garbage.
