Then the companies file for bankruptcy, the money changes hands into another company, and they go on to make probably worse chemical concoctions. Congratulations on being part of the problem.
Are there any mineral sunscreens that are waterproof? They seem to run off as soon as they get wet, including sweat. I always feel a little sick & nauseous after applying titanium dioxide. I also look sick too from white cast.
I see people mentioning how these leave a white cast, especially on darker skin. I have medium skin and just either mix a foundation/BB cream with my sunscreen (on my face) or just wait a minute for it to sink in. But I found also found a few options that might work for darker skin and still be bobby approved, the 100% pure one is in my opinion the best: Babo Botanicals, Daily Sheer Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Fluid, SPF50 (spf 50, $20.25) Glow Natural Daily Tinted Mineral Face Sunscreen and Moisturizer (spf 30, $35) Raw Elements Tinted Facial Moisturizer in Bronze (spf 30, $21.99). I've used this one in a lighter shade and I like the formula, probably not good for oily skin 100% pure BB cream, has three shades the last of which (Radiance) looks like it would work for medium dark skin (spf 30, $44). This is the one I personally use in the medium shade, and I always get compliments on how great my skin looks. They have semi annual sales or random/holiday deals, so I just plan accordingly and make sure to get it on sale since it's very expensive.

I guess WE'RE the true guinea pigs, because nothing comes of all of this until the class action lawsuits begin. Then the companies file for bankruptcy, the money changes hands into another company, and they go on to make probably worse chemical concoctions. Congratulations on being part of the problem.
Appreciate you preaching this stuff. I recommend you do one for tick repellants.
Are there any mineral sunscreens that are waterproof? They seem to run off as soon as they get wet, including sweat. I always feel a little sick & nauseous after applying titanium dioxide. I also look sick too from white cast.
As an japanese spf lover, I say who lives without sunscreen man
Mineral sunscreens are very drying and they leave a very white cast on your skin.
@ScreaminEagleCoastersyou literally cannot tell that just by a video you’d have to look upclose. Stop agreeing with everything just because.
use hydration under SPF creams. Wait for the cream to get absorbed
The spray doesn't all end up on your body. Some of it partialy ebds up in the air as well.
I see people mentioning how these leave a white cast, especially on darker skin. I have medium skin and just either mix a foundation/BB cream with my sunscreen (on my face) or just wait a minute for it to sink in. But I found also found a few options that might work for darker skin and still be bobby approved, the 100% pure one is in my opinion the best:
Babo Botanicals, Daily Sheer Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Fluid, SPF50 (spf 50, $20.25)
Glow Natural Daily Tinted Mineral Face Sunscreen and Moisturizer (spf 30, $35)
Raw Elements Tinted Facial Moisturizer in Bronze (spf 30, $21.99). I've used this one in a lighter shade and I like the formula, probably not good for oily skin
100% pure BB cream, has three shades the last of which (Radiance) looks like it would work for medium dark skin (spf 30, $44). This is the one I personally use in the medium shade, and I always get compliments on how great my skin looks. They have semi annual sales or random/holiday deals, so I just plan accordingly and make sure to get it on sale since it's very expensive.
Wow thanks so much❤ Great advice as usual.
Any recommendations for those who have an allergy to Zinc Oxide?
Look up non nano Titanium dioxide sunscreens.
Yes. Wear chemical sunscreen. Dermatologists know they are fine.
@@maureengreen617you mean the doctors who get paid when you have skin conditions?! No wayyyy
@@maureengreen617dermatologists will also tell you it's safe to use retinol eye creams, but any ophthalmologist will tell you that can cause dry eye disease. Derms only know their own field and whats best for skin, not whats best for the rest of your body necessarily.
Use European or Korean sunscreens. They use healthier chemicals that the FDA just hasnt approved yet (for dumb reasons to do with their approval process, not because they found any issues with these chemicals)
Anything banned in Hawaii kills the coral reef and is not safe for marine life, I only wear what would be acceptable out there
Loved seeing both of you!!
Who is the other guy?
For heaven's sake, I just bought 16 fl. oz. CVS 50 sunscreen and it has all the chemical ingredients that you've mentioned here. Maybe you could tell CVS!
It'll be absolutely fine, use it. This video is absolute nonsense with no basis in science. Just scaremongering for clicks.
I like getting a little tan in the summer instead of lathering my skin up with sunscreen. We don’t get much sunlight where I live and I’ve had a vitamin D deficiency for as long as I can remember. A little exposure to sunlight is wonderful contrary to popular belief.
Great duo!!
DR Dray disagrees?!
Me running to go check my sunscreen ingredients list 😢.
Lo and behold--it’s Chemical based😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Chemical sunscreens are more than safe. Watch an actual dermstologist like Dr Dray
@@shebjjeje9720LINK PLEASE
Zinc oxide, which is what's recommended is a chemical. Look at the name Zinc Oxide.
@jamisongillespie3524 Everything is a chemical. Also natural doesn't equate safe nor effective. Snake venom is natural but it's deadly.
I used to totally stress about that too, especially on my kids, ❤ but there are some really good skincare educators out there that break down the chemical contents in both mineral and organic ("chemical") sunscreens, and they're actually very similar, the mineral ones are often just unregulated so the comparable ingredient is not listed among the active ingredients. In the end, go with the one that works best for your skin and stops you from burning! Lab muffin has great youtube videos breaking down the ingredients of sunscreen, the reef safe ratings, etc, like in this video: czcams.com/video/_Lcakmug-c0/video.html
Thanks Bobby, for this Awesome info
Mineral sunscreens make me look like CASPAR THE GHOST.
The question is.. do we really need to use sunscreen? I grew up in times when we had no idea about sunscreen. I have no skin cancer.
The short answer is yes. Yes you need sunscreen, especially if you want to stay skin cancer-free.
@@Jessicalovesmichael I grew by the Caspian Sea. All summer at the beach. Right now work in construction, outside at all times. None of my friends got skin cancer. Never used sunscreen.
@@ruderussian9811lucky you not everyone will get cancer by not using sunscreen just like not everyone will die from smoking cigarettes but we all know cigarettes are still bad for you,I have a family member who has had skin cancer 3times from not wearing sunscreen and being outside so it effects everyone different

Found out I was allergic to zinc ox sunscreen - bummer
Yep my daughter is too. Looks like she has poison ivy when she uses mineral sunscreens .😢
Thank you for making this! 🙏
Any recommendations for mineral sunscreen that won’t leave white cast specifically on POC
Protecting your skin isnt about color. You’re not a victim. White reflects
Unseen sunscreen by Supergoop
@@Countcho black people in America have quite a big problem with vitamin d deficiency I seem to remember reading so if anything they need to cut back on the suncream every now and then
@@Roses-Peonies that’s a chemical sunscreen
@@Countcho whose talking about victim here. I asked a suggestion, if you can recommend one based on if you had similar issues like me then do if not please don’t waste your energy here.
No, chemical sunscreen cant disrupt anything since they don’t penetrate blood circulation. The same reason why you need to do blood test with isotretinoin but not with topical tretinoin. They the same thing.
Great video and educational thank you!!!❤❤❤❤
Welp, hot red skin + increased risk of cancer it is 🤷♂️
Shockingly inaccurate based on current available evidence and just playing to peoples fears
If this stuff is banned in other countries and Key West/Hawaii why are these companies allowed to continue to put these harmful ingredients. They should re-formulate their products. Thank you again👌
Now the badger has uncoated zinc and the others he recommended do not say that.. now which is better..
Does these recommendations work well with makeup?
Zinc oxide leaves a white cast.
Listen to dermatologist and scientists 😅
Not to a so called food expert 😢
I just got this same info from AARP. I'm all for keeping as many chemicals off/out of me as I can. If a natural based lotion can protect as well and be affordable, then this is fabulous news!
Wow, great info. Thanks
Geez, both are fine, both are safe and both are much safer than wearing nothing. It is up to everyone what they choose. Stop scarring ppl with your half trues.
Love your content❤keep up this great work!
Just bought some Badger. Why did I decide to follow this advice? I already care about my skin and take vitamins, minerals and prebiotic. So, with this intense heat here in CA, I wanna keep protecting it.
How about the moisturizer with SPF? Are there any mineral based out there, or they are not as damaging?
Many SPF products are moisturizing you just need to go to the store and test them out :)
got the good cop bad cop routine down with this duo
I had used coconut oil one time for fun as sun screen and it cooked me alive
I bet you smelled good tho lol

As opposed to nothing, I think he's trying to recommend using the mineral based OVER the chemicals. I don't think there's that big a difference between the price points. May as well get the least toxic. I wish I had worn mud or something ( when I was younger) to preserve my skin.
They seem to be double the price, average, or more
Thinksport has hydrogenated oil too.
Thanks for the tip, greetings from Mexico City
Where I live because of the weather, I’ll be using sunscreen maybe 3 or 4 times a year lol. Little bit of sun screen ain’t hurting anyone

Why Bobby look like he’s getting younger? 😅 I like the basic tee and slim fit pants, I hope I can’t rewind the clock like you. Go Bobby!!
@flavcity do you have any helpful info on whether or not body lotion or body oil is better for the skin?
Use raw shea butter if you have dry skin and a non toxic aloe vera gel if you have oily skin, game changer
I Love Milkadamia brand Macadamia Oil on the body sold in cooking aisle....Andalou Body BUTTER REPEAT BUTTER with green cap NOT the lotion...also WELEDA Body cream/lotion fantastic too.
Well, here we have very bad things on the market that can harm us or kill us ... Oka we all agree right Bobby?! Oka ,oka . So lets all boycott these companies starting right now . All these fast-food . Chemicals in products etc . Is it not time that we the consumer get what we want and not what these companies say we should have .
What you look for is… whatever brand is currently paying him😂
I can’t use mineral based sunscreen because I get horrible breakouts and the white casting is a no for me, I look sick and grey.
Why is it that this guy never actually cites the places where he gets his information? Could it be that he is just cherry picking the one part of the article that actually supports his false & baseless claims. 🤔
Chemical sunscreens also taste horrific!
Why the fuck are you eating it. It’s meant to go on your skin
I didn’t think sunscreen was a good meal anyways
Thank you!
Thanks sharing God bless everyone ❤❤❤
The people with degrees and expertise are laughing at you. Also, you give them content to NOT listen to your fear mongering inaccurate information.
exactly what i thought. Those uneducated pseudoscientists on youtube are driving me nuts.
Buy European sunscreens which are marine safe
OK, please don't title your videos like this. There are enough wack jobs out there saying that we shouldn't use sunscreen. I had skin cancer at 37, and I find it absolutely offensive. If you have fair skin you absolutely must wear sunscreen. I agree mineral is better, but chemical based is still safer than getting skin cancer, for me.
