Rachel pressured Hayden into proposing then he broke it off when he realized what he was getting himself into, meanwhile Rachel had been having and affair with her former boss from the OC Josh Schwartz, and she got pregnant by him, but rather than have an abortion to escape responsibility from her bad life decisions she decided she could lie to Hayden and say the baby was his so he would have no choice but to take her back. What’s more, if you look at pictures of Briar, Rachel’s daughter, she looks nothing like Hayden. But if you compare Briar to Josh’s other children, they could easily be siblings of each other. Moral of the story: Genetics don’t lie, but people do
