    Took her out for a first shake down run to make sure everything running well and see what sort of speed she would do.

      Sorry for the late reply - this has only just appeared in my list of comment notifications, not sure why:
      Have used both in the Kraton EXB. The Rapids are great but if doing very high jumps etc the case can spit round the seam, when they are stacked on top of each other, i have super glued and put gorilla tape round the seam to stop it happening. The Panthers are the best no question, but are a very tight fit in the stock battery tray, you will need to either run without the top sliding part of the battery tray or dremel the inside sides of it down so it fits over the panther.
      Hope this helps

      Max8 2200kv will work, however you will likely need to solder on the extra Caps that come with the Max8. If you can stretch to the Max6 with either the 1650kv or 1100kv motor i would go for them. 1100kv will need a new motor mount though, 1650kv firs in stock motor mount

      Depends where you live really - i live in UK so options are limited. The Hobbywing Max8 with 2200kv motor would be fine, just its recommended to add the extra caps packs to the ESC (comes in the box) to the Max8 for a tuck this size, and i dont like to solder, so easier optiojn for me was just to go max6. Like any car it you punch it hard it will flip, its easy enough to control, but still enough power to have fun 😂😂😂 naother option would be Max6 ESC or Castle ESC and the hobbywing 4274 2200kv motor - just you cant buy that as a combo

      Option between Mojave / Kraton 8s / Outcast 8s or Xmaxx would really come down to what you wanted to do with the car, Mojave is really only good on lose material like dirt, gravel, sand etc, to be honest it sucks on grass, concrete or Astroturf, then between the O8S / K8S and Xmaxx would depend if you wanted something a bit more stable round corners then K8S / O8S, or more durable and cheaper to fix then Xmaxx

    • @HardcoreRC
      @HardcoreRC  Před 3 lety +1

      In most RC cars the diffs are what is called open, this means that the power gets transferred to the wheels with the least resistance, that is why when a car wheelies the front wheels turn into pizza cutters, all the power is being transferred to the front, the normal way of fixing this is by using thicker diff fluid.
      The LSD (Limited Slip) plates means that as the wheels with less traction start to spin up the plates cause friction inside the diff and effectively make the fluid thicker and thus stopping the transfer of power to the wheels with no traction.
      In a normal open diff when driving on two wheels like at 8:43 the power would have been transferred to the wheels off the ground.
      This may help you in the benefits of Limited Slip Diffs (albeit for real cars 😂) drivetribe.com/p/how-limited-slip-diffs-make-you-aKo9i9p4TdiBurut_Y4zSg?iid=Rj0Evvl7Tv2rgLF9BkMsGA
