When I was 14 and living in Alaska in 1991 the radio station played this opera and I recorded it onto cassettes.. and would follow along in a score! I learned a lot about how music was written! I would think “That’s what THAT sounds like on paper”! Marriage of Figaro too. The public library had only German language CD’s available (For Magic Flute) so I wasn’t sure what these were about story wise I Just loved the music!

Delicious Music! Deliciously genial! Who listen The Magic Flute, Cosi fan Tutte, Don Giovanni, The Marriage of Figaro, realize that Mozart is the greatest ever musical creator. Mozartl is Music, and Music that is pure beauty, from a tangible but incommensurable beautiness.
Had search some of my favorites opera composers like the greatest mozartl and Tchaikovsky and Strauss, and must say it: nice, great, and beautiful work! 👏

I suppose you are using the Bärenreiter vocal score? What are your thoughts on using Peters Edition for example? I find their piano reduction much more detailed and better for accompaniment.
