    I'm just now getting my financial situation back into a stable place. Once I get things fully in order, I cannot wait to train with Ronin.       @@forrestthroughdatrees around $800-1200. A lot of classes are closed for only law enforcement / military though

    When I went to the academy we had to draw and fire on a rotating target with one second. Prepping the the trigger going to the four position really works! This video is a great demonstration of how to adjust your draw. Keep up the good fight Tu!

    I like this. Just took a intermediate pistol class a few weeks ago, and the instructor had us slow all this down. Same starting position. High ready. However, finger didn’t touch trigger until sights were on target, then 3,2,1 for trigger pull. This seems more efficient.

    I've learned a lot from you Tu. Thank you. I truly feel deadly now and know that with out a doubt, whether it's a pistol or knife, that I am much more likely to be the one going home to my family if, god forbid, I have to protect myself or others. Still working the rifle but that boils down to not being able to afford a combat rifle yet. I have my Ruger .22 though and I can still get the movements down quite a bit.       Our problem is we're way too passive aggressive as opposed to straight out aggressive like most other ethnicities. I'm speaking specifically about those that are rooted fundamentally in Confucian culture - China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam. Our Confucian fused upbringings and natural disposition toward passivity contributes to the stereotype even though it's mostly inaccurate, in my opinion of course.

    So good at teaching, a true Leader that's also amazing at public speaking and captivating an audience. Paired skills with being an intelligent man and a bad ass camando....that's versed in different ways of warfare and martial arts.... there is not many people, much less instructors out there with all these qualities. Plus he can walk the walk in real world applications and not just flat range.

    I alway get the best from your videos. I understand, but its a pity for me that there aren more videos like on some chanels, but i understand the concept and that you use your website for trainings. I feel impowered when i watch your training, i feel stronger, and i feel focused. not so many people on YT chanels can do that, and you surtanly do so. I can see how much presure youv been through your life and carier, so that is the power that speeks from you, more than most of other profesionals, who maybe havent had that kind od self making, which actualy makes a fighter so special.     I've got people around me asking how come I don't get new guns. My answer is usually " I watch Ronin shit and spend most of my money on Ammo." Saving up to hopefully get out there and participate in one of Tu's teachings.

    As a lover of the 1911 platform, very interested to hear what caused the shift from a striker fired pistol to the 1911 he is running. Assuming its his Ronin version from Springfield but with all the hate on the internwebs these days on the reliability of the 1911 platforms and the craz with the 2011's, interested to hear why a SOF guy who likely was issued an M9 chose to go back.

      probably because he felt like using a 1911/2011 that day. Could also be one of the Triarc 1911, since his AR15 is a Triarc too

    I have been watching your vids on grip and presentation of a handgun and would like your views on a problem I am having .
    I recently lost vision in my right eye but everything I do or equipment I have is I am strongly right handed.
    I see several steps I can take to help my problem and would like your views on which would be best .

    #1 ---- turn head slightly right
    #2 ---- break wrist slightly right
    #3 ---- tilt pistol slightly left
    #4 ---- shift stance slightly right

    Thanks for any info or suggestions .

    That posture may get you punch holes in a static range but it will not work on a moving and shooting situation.
