Iâm looking forward of getting PokĂ©mon scarlet and violet Nintendo switch edition but as far as I know the Splatoon 3 edition looks gorgeous though

The Pokemon SV edition has the colours because they fit the "fancy/expensive" since scarlet, the red side, is themed after the past, and violet, the purple side, after the future. The games seem like the region overall is more wealthy/expensive, and back in the day red was extremely expensive (so the "past" game is red) and nowadays violet tones like purpur (which is the german name for pkmn Violet) is extremely expensive so the "future" game is purple. And since its so bad because the colours are quite similar, there isnt that much of a distance for the Let's go colours, which you said were an A
Violet and Scarlet are also quite commonly associated with Royalty. For the reason you mentioned before plus due to royals in Europe adopting the colours to flex wealth. Iberia was tied firmly to their monarchy until the last century and even nowadays, whilst maintaining them as mere figureheads in Spain, the monarchy is still a distinguished part of Iberia. Just like how Sword and Shield had the world champion motif to showcase Britain, Sports and Leon's cape being a clear nod to royalty alongside the post game duo of characters. Game freak are ridiculously good at world designing. It's a shame they don't get the necessary time and resources to make games fully fleshed like they used to.

I got to say since the first time I saw the reveal trailer of the nintendo switch oled splatoon 3 special edition I was extremely blown by it. I really like the colors they gave to the joy - cons, the details on the dock and on the switch looks amazing. This is the best special edition oled switch I have seen so far. I might get one for myself.

Monster Hunter in the S tier??? ABOVE Animal Crossing?? I give it an A with the Mario R&B but I think only ACNH and Splatoon are S tier. Honestly maybe Splatoon is S, ACNH is A, Mario R&B is B, and everything else is below it somewhere. As for the Scarlet and Violet one, Iâll have to see what that finish is like..
I agree with all of them except the scarlet violet i would rank it as s tier.
What a fun video! Man, I was here for it all! So I actually agree with almost every placement on your list. However I'll switch the Labo and the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The Labo is way too plain in my opinion. I actually like the Scarlet and Violet Switch. I dig the graffiti-like design on the back though I'm not 100% sold on the front of the dock. It's still cool but I do wonder if they could have gone a different way with the dock. I do agree that the Splatoon 3 Switch is the absolute best of the bunch. I finally got the OLED Switch thanks to that amazing design.
Having the Let's go! Switch, excited for the Pokémon OLED I was able to preorder! My wife loves her animal crossing switch... And neither of us use the Zacian / Zamazenta switch lite. What a fun video!
Some funtastic editions with clear, colored shells would be awesome. Would make a great nod to the funtastic n64s. And imagine some funtastic n64 switch controllers, man that would be awesome.

Nah. Iâm not a PokĂ©mon fan but it sure belongs to A or S tier for me. Iâm choosing to get my 4th Oled between splatoon or PokĂ©mon but in the end is Poke. One of the only Switchâes that is colored at the back. But I do agree itâs a bit messy. Same for splatoon joycons in the front even though I like the gradient and white back. However splatoon main consoleâs back is just nothing much. The best is monster hunter design (or pikschu n eevee) in gold color on the console back. Simple but yet elegant.
4th OLED but you have to choose between two designs? So, for your 4th model, whcih you get 12 months after original launch, you get the 3rd design? Did you really get a new one every 3 months?
The splatoon 3 one is definitely my favorite. I just had to get it cause it is pretty and I love Splatoon really much. I like the new pokemon switch too but it really doesnât fit well with other joycons. Wish they went with black on black but Splatoon still looks better
i love the platin/diamond one and the new pokemon one :) but the splatoon 3 one looks great too
Let's go Evee edition should definitely be S tier, they included a rare pokeball plus controller, what else are you looking for? Usually special editions don't include anything else, just the console.
Sorry to tell you but the Pokemon switch oled is number one, atleast until the Zelda switch oled comes out.
I feel like the Scarlet & Violet switch is a "you either love it or you hate it" situation. I really like the design but I might be a tad bit biased since I'm a huge pokemon fan.
Same. I plan on getting it, Iâve been a lifelong fan and the design has grown on me I really like it. But Iâll admit the Splatoon 3 one does look quite better.

@@evaschipper9398 nice! I wanna replace my regular OLED with it, and same I was tempted w the Splatoon 3 one and I love Splatoon, when I get into it it's like a high that fades at times though lol. Pokemon on the other hand I've loved since I was a kid, and I love the Paldea starters

Why is it that if you look at these special edition systems you realize that there aren't alot of special edition Nintendo Switch Lites
I have the SV OLED and you are right I use pink and green or all white joy con so that it blends well with the back or looks good with the dock. The hori dark red split pad compact .... that looks good too but yeah it's a pain that the design doesn't work well with all that many joy con colors. I think these upcoming all pastel pink ones might work well.
Good video mate.. I agree with quiet a lot of your choices part from nintendi labo I think is about D and the pokemon one is about an S level. Not a pokmon fan but I love the console. Orange and purple go together mate. They are a classic combo. But I did agree on alot of your other choices though. Good work..đ

Splatoon 3 Switch gave me hope for future designs. Now Iâm back to worrying about the Zelda one if we get it lol.
Do you think this means we donât get a new Switch model in the spring/summer? Would Nintendo really temp you with all of these knowing youâre going to want a new system next year? Or do they not think like that
If anything all these special edititions tell me theyâre trying to get rid of these parts as fast as they can.

When releasing OLED I had assumed it would stick around even if they have a new system out. If anything the V2 I think would go away.
They might release a new one but honestly, unless you are a youtuber or something, why bother buying a Launch model? Is the V1 fiasco not a good lesson to learn? Hahaha

Mostly that was right,because I couldnât catch up with that New PokĂ©mon oled Nintendo Switch online so I mostly decided to get Splatoon 3 oled Nintendo Switch.
At least the splatoon 2 joycons had an official independent release compared to odyssey, but BASED drip with splatoon 3 taking the dub đ

I think for some of these they shouldâve maybe just made them themed joy cons. If they ever start just selling themed joy cons, i hope they do mario characters. I would DIE for princess peach joy cons, the home button could be the jewel on her dress, the main colour could be her dress colour and the wrist strap things could be magenta. Just brain storming her, but i think those would sell like nuts.
This tier list is really good but i would def put the Lest Go Pikachu/Evee editions on S because this edition comes with the game and a Pokeball controler besides Being very Rare 2 find
So my Mario Red and Blue Edition and my Animal Crossing edition is in S Tier. Thank god I have these consoles. I also have the grey switch lite Pokémon edition, I only used it a few times till the left stick started to not respond to right movement inputs. So now my Pokémon edition switch lite sits in its box in my display case.

Pokémon has the best back cover, Splatoon has the best joy con, Zelda has the best Dock IMO
My biggest problem with your list is pokemon lets go should be s tier. It came with a digital copy of the game, different coloured themed joy cons. The strap bits were different colours. The dock was themed, the back of the switch was stealthy and awesome and it came with the pokeball plus.

Agreed but I'm definitely biased since orange and purple are my favourite colours. Was very happy when I pulled it out and saw orange, not scarlet.
I really hope they release a special edition switch for the new botw game that's coming out in 2023 because that would be amazing, and I loved the first game so much I'm so excited for the second game :))

the animal crossing edition is the best by far for me the dock is so unique and the joycons and the back of the switch its just so awesome im glad i got the animal crossing switch im also glad you put it on s tier

I'm a proud owner of Splatoon 3 oled. And yeah I like it too even I'm spending 80 buck more than the normal neon oled.

I totally get why people like the glossy silhouettes most special edition Switch did but I'm the opposite of wanting my devices to look subtle and "pro"-looking, I like it when they're unique, loud, and colorful in design in reminiscence of 00's designs lol. Hence why I preordered it as my first Switch!

The dragon switch according to his others shouldve def gone in A or B tier
1. Splatoon-3 and Animal Crossing are the best. They are bright and cheerful !
2. Red Mario is good too. Very stylish.
3. Others are +/- equivalent. Nothing special, except "Labo"

Splatoon joycon is great, i will definitely get a pair when sold separately, but that dock looked like someone spat loogie on it.
I beg to disagree on the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet though. That switch looks lit and it makes me want to upgrade from my current oled.
I will also buy the Splatoon 3 Joy Con if they are released separately. I already have the original OLED but my jaw dropped when I saw the Splatoon 3 OLED.

my favourite is still the animal crossing one by far. Not because of the colours or anything i tend to prefer darker shades but just because i fucking love animal crossing

Get the PokĂ©mon one. I have it and I love it, everything looks great, the dock is my favorite part about all of it, it has like a holo textured effect to it. I upgraded from the original 2017 Switch and I do not regret my purchase in the slightest! â€đ
Great list! The Splatoon 3 edition is certainly the best designed Switch to date. That and the Monster Hunter Rise are what I currently own. The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet edition is so ugly!

i was excited for the Scarlet & Violet one, but upon closer inspection, only the joycons are somewhat worth it ... i then decided i'd rather get the Splatoon3, and the next day, i saw it at the store! ^_^

Totally disagree, but yes this had me laughing out hard. Check the sales numbers on the the pokemon OLED vs the Splatoon OLED after their time out on sales are equal and see for yourself. I do agree with the monster hunter one as I'm using the procontroller, you forgot the rise controller as well. But yeah the pokemon OLED is literally soldout everywhere whereas the Splatoon 3 one is still huge unsold stock still remains as the switch is on it's last legs. Pokemon out sells Splatoon eventually and Nintendo did a great thing banking on this. As for the color scheme, orange and purple are a good combo any day.
