It’s too late and if the other rumors are true, the switch 2 is gonna be weaker than a PS4 pro still not beefing up specs. If Steam Deck 2 gets announced sooner than Nintendo is in trouble.

I think, there will be 2 nintendo direct left for this year, one in june 2024 and another probably around november 2024. In june will be for big games, big studios and around november will be an indie world. The last Nintendo direct for June 2024, I think they will announce more remasters and probably an announcement for one last big game like Nintendo usually does at the end of their console's life. I think they will announce metroid prime 4, coming at the end of the year 2024, retro compatible switch 2 with 4K patch or HD patch. I think Nintendo will give us a complete presentation of the next switch between september to november 2024 for a release in March 2025.

Nintendo’s initial Switch release schedule was successful because nobody bought the Wii U, so there was no downside to such a massive timing gap between showcase and release date. The current-gen Switch is still selling well into its 8th year, so the circumstances are completely different. Nintendo won’t miss the lucrative 2024 lucrative holiday window (especially given the massive opening that Xbox and Sony have given them). Therefore, if you want to rely on past successes as an indicator, then the sequencing of the Nintendo Switch Lite and OLED releases is a better indicator (July announcement and September release). They will also tease the Mario 3D game at the end of the June direct. Enjoy!
