One of my good friends in HS is blind from birth and plays beep baseball competitively! I'm half blind, the kind called homonymous hemianopsia, and he's shown me such awesome stuff like this for partially blind, low vision, and even those with reduced dexterity or range of motion!
the sock holder is super useful even for the seeing people! i had too many times when my socks are too similar yet so different so that I had to spend a lot of time finding pairs after washing
My grandfather had a talking microwave back in the 90s. We always loved using it as kids. Nobody was blind though so im not sure why they had it. I didnt even know it was for blind people
The tape measure and the dodgeball blew my mind. Why the actual F*CK would a blind person ever need either of those? 😝 My dad is 85 and been blind for over 10 years and I explained this to him and we had a great laugh 😝
when you include blind people of student age and not just the blind elderly that have people living with them, things start making a little more sense..

plus if it becomes a standard household item it'll be more commonly and cheaply available
