There has not been a duo like this - each embellishing upon the raga built by the other. Reminds me of their hoary collaborations and the way they touched the soul. Note how both artistes use the kharaj strings (or base strings) extensively and with great effect throughout this recital and not just during the early stages of the alap, especially by Panditji. This was a different era the like of which we are yet to see. Thank u very much for the upload.
