Thank you for the review. A suggestion..the background looks super super bright for the cam. A less britghter background will help for you guys to not look out cmof contrast with the bright light infront of the cam. 😉

Love profondo and love your collab videos with each other. My most recent bottle is Y edp which is amazing. Now I have prada l'homme, code Colonia, and 150ml of OG spicebomb on the way 😊

This new release is good but it's a hybrid of Asenza and Partlty Profondo has the citrus opening like profondo lights but not as harass and it has transitions in to Asenza only after it starts drying down .Overall it's above average it last like 7.5 to 8 hours the sent and overall a good video .

I have both and enjoy both. They both get my complements. But right now I am leaning more towards the EDP.

Aqua di Gio Parfum, my choice for travel. It won't knock other passengers off chairs.

Hi! Yes, Acqua Di Gio Eau De Parfum is not a strong one.
For me Profumo is the best because to my nose it smells the most interesting. I wear it to the office and it projects well off my skin giving me a fantastic scent bubble. Great video again Rotten Rebel.

I'm onest, love the Acqua di Giò DNA.
I have Profumo in my collection and is super good, very versatile, and long lasting on the skin. Actually love others, Edt, Essenza, Absolu, Profondo and Edp.
I try it the Edp, last week, and i think I'm buy it a bottle. Love the citrus and flowers note in it. ✌️😁

If you were starting over, which one of the two would you consider a better blind buy? Profondo or EDP? And if you had to have both of them, which one would you buy a bigger bottle of?
This is exactly the video I needed! I have both but prefer the smell of profondo. The EDP seems to have slightly better staying power but smells a bit like BO and egg to me. I wish I get the performance on Profondo like people say they do

It's definitely not a strong performing fresh scent. 😊 It's a great aquatic freshie but I do recommend spraying more with it since the scent cloud is not that strong.

These are very similar, which I wear during the same season and occasion. Profondo has more going on and it's a great fragrance, but I find the EDP more appealing, as you mention, in a minimum way. I also use the EDP to blend with Profumo to cut the insense.

@@rottenrebels I don't like giving 10s but for me it's probably a 9/10. One of my favourite freshies for sure, and it's strong enough to wear in spring and fall aswell! I can't get enough of the opening!

Hmm... They are a bit different while being in the same 'category'.
I don't think it's necessary for someone who only has a few fragrances in his collection to have both. Then it's better to maybe have one and then go for another one that's completely different.
For someone who has a large collection, or who truly loves both, then maybe it makes more sense to have both 😊

these smelled very similar on my skin, but I will say edp over profondo for the simple reason that profondo doesn’t last on my skin for some reason.

@@rottenrebels the edp is definitely a more bitter opening. It also has some slight smokey notes from the vetiver to me. But nowhere as smokey as profumo.

I know some people get something "greenish" in the original that they did not enjoy, but the EdP - at least to me - has stripped off things so much and made it so smooth and nice that there's nothing but goodness in it.
But again, it's all subjective so someone might get something "funky", but I don't 😊

Is it just me or does profundo slightly remind anyone of percival? It has that lavender and aquatic feel. Maybe a simpler and more basic version of percival. That is the only reason I haven't purchased profundo. I find percival similar but better in every way.
Hi Aaron! Different noses different vibes and experiences 😊 To me its very different to percival. Percival is more nuanced, with more distinct and separate layers of highs, mids and lows that come together in a fantastic way 😊 Profondo is a great scent but not as nuanced and not on the same level of quality on a more granular level 😊 I reach for percival way more often Than profondo but profondo is an amazing and versatile one that I use from everything to formal events to those warm days in the sun 😊🙌

the profondo bottle looks a lot lighter than the 4.2oz bottle I have. The marine scene on Profondo is great but I either get nose blind to it really quickly or its longevity sucks
The bottle looks lighter because of the light in the video 😊 It's a fantastic aquatic fresh scent but it's not a strong one 😊

What if, I own Y EDP, light blue eau extreme, sauvage edt, dylan blue and eros edp. Amongest which Acqua Di Gio line should I go for?
You have enough scents that cover the situations I use the ADG line in. If you want to buy one just to buy one, I personally like profondo. Biggest compliment getter and easy to pull off.

Hi! I think it comes down to what type of aquatic scent you enjoy the most. Profondo I would say is the most mass appealing and versatile one, but the newer Parfum is definitely also among the top of the ones in the AdG line.
For a fruity and sweet twist there's Absolu, but it seems like they discontinued it which is a shame. 🤔 That one pulled in the most compliments out of them all and actually brought something quite different to the line. Hope they bring it back 🤷♂️

It has to be the EDP for me. The whole range is good though. Profumo and Essenza are still the benchmark.

I actually don't own Absolu or Absolu Instinct nor feel the need to. Do you have them or have sampled them and if so, how would you rate them?

@@sandymcconnell1969 i loved Absolu from the first sniff! From when it was brand new and completely underrated by most. Such a nice flanker that is different from the rest in the line! Crazy good compliment getter as well 👌 Absolu Instinct is good as well, but not as nice as absolu. Highly recommend Absolu even though I know a lot of men shy away from it (women love that on guys though). Absolu Instinct might be one flanker though that I don’t think is an essential buy 😊

I've been hunting for a 2nd ADG fragrance but I'm stuck. Profondo, lights or EDP? Considering all the reviews and comments there is not a clear cut winner. Yeah, I've tested all 3. Still can't decide.

@@rottenrebels It's Profumo for me. Been for years even before I got interested in fragrances. It just feels gentlemanly.
@@78nailbomb Profondo, Profondo Lights and the EDP are different compared to profumo. I do have a review of the EDP.. They all have "that" AdG kind of scent but it's a bit more noticeable in some and they all have their own unique take on it.
I like the EDP because to me it's a minimalistic "bare bones" modern kind of version of the original. Profondo smells great and I really like lights , but I keep forgetting about it so I have not used it that much. Can't go wrong with any of them as long as you enjoy marine/aquatic scents. All are classy and smell great 😊

@@LeeNguyen12 it depends on how much you love the scent. If you absolutely love it then why not? It’s a GREAT scent But if you already have profondo I would probably save the money and go for something else in the AdG line or something completely different 😊

Profondo is ok, and the EDP is ok. Nothing special, I do not get the hype with Profondo. PROFUMO, however, has character and personality. Hell, even Absolu has some personality. But Profumo, and now the new Parfum (it's replacement" is fantastic.
