A bazillion years ago they ran the CX course through the beer tent and there was a double barrier where it passed through. It was cruelty of a high order. No cowbells just people with beer under a tent and you (me) suffering and riding in circles. Golly I miss racing cross.

I have a couple of those Mountain Hardware jackets and they are great :-) The right-hand pocket on mine is the stuff-sack. They are mad expensive though so I would never puncture the fabric as the lining will escape ;-)

Update us on the durability of the jacket…particularly if it leaks down around the seams where you added the pockets. You are braver than I as I wouldn’t put pockets on a down jacket. I will add them to some of my fleece stuff though.

Most likely!
Puncturing/sewing a down jacket might not be the best idea. Down will eventually sort of seep trought. Also UL fabric is not really tear resistant, so there is a chance it will rip.
The idea itself is nice tho :)
