He uses big words... He's old and is going to really miss the boat this time around. The world has finally passed him by unlike before. He's aged beyond the speed of the world and should retire and buy an island (while he can).

This man has incredible insights and I feel his disclosures and opinions are incredibly useful. I could listen to him all day long because his wisdom stems from pain and experience. Entry into programmatic (algorithmic) risk assessment and retail lending using macro economic decision making is definitely a new construct that has leveraged technology, finance, and investment. The age of the algorithms is definitely upon us. Be ready.

A lot of sideways talk between 20:00 and 32:00 - needs to take responsibility for his company's actions. As Lloyd says, they needed to analyse "riskiness" better. And to take the regulations as something laid down upon them like they don't directly influence or play a part in their creation.

He actually gives a brilliant analysis of Bitcoin by calling it a *consensus currency* (as opposed to fiat currency) that may simply be a logical evolution of money. And bless him for also being honest about missing the cell phone revolution. Then again, this man has so much USD he can basically afford to be wrong because even if the USD hyperinflates he'd still be ok (and he still has time and plenty of USD to convert into BTC :-) but imagine how rich this man could be in 10 years if he only invests 5% of his net worth in BTC now.

@22:00 unsecuretized loans? No house, no cars to claim? Guess these things had been taken in previous crashes. Nothing else to be taken at this point? We'll watch the next crash and we're watching the auto subprimes. After housing and cars, watch else is there to take? Smartphones? Dear lord not the smartphones! It would hit companies and governments harder than the customers. Governments and companies would rather give away smartphones for free at this point.

Very smart man with great points about the crypto space! I wonder what his thought on niche market cryptocurrencies like fr8network for freight shipping, vechain for logistics and propy along with Muirfield IP for real estate and whether they will prosper in general with all the other competition in the market
