Urban angling at Folkestones Radnor park pool 05/05/24

Here we see sea angling legend Alan Yates fishing Radnor park pool in the centre of Folkestone, he has fished here for over 50 years and this remarkable little oasis in the middle of town always delivers.Bream roach and perch coming regular to his loose fed maggots but it was clear to see that as he was the only one feeding he was also the only one catching!

Lumps of bread crust fished right in the reeds used to be the way to catch the carp.
