Fantastic, so it gives us slightly better access to *checks notes* vape shops, gambling shops, phone repair shops, hairdressers and newsagents.
Also what view are you proposing people will enjoy sitting in the old bus terminus? Some chavs hanging around smoking weed on the swings with a backdrop of a multi storey car park?

That’s one cynical take. Helpful comments are welcome, too.

Can you chill with the traffic lights.
Zebra crossings work fine, almost everytime I stop at a light no one's crossing because they already crossed after pressing the button.

Change the whole flow of traffic in the town by putting traffic lights everywhere? I don’t see any of this as an improvement.

Better connecting residents north of Shellons and Middleburg to the town centre with pedestrian-friendly routes is an improvement.

how much did this video cost waste of time and money it show the right amount of people in the town it dead and the bus station can become a camp site for the homeless you know what they say you can't pplish a T

There have been commenting periods for this. Feedback was a significant part of the planning, as the video said. I don’t believe hypotheticals about homeless folks camping at the bus station was a meaningful part of it.

Not some bad ideas there, but let's sort out the state of the town centre first. No good doing all this if there's no reason to go to the town centre in the first place, desperately need to attract businesses and people. Unless the town centre will become part residential? Also the garden square could end up being a hotspot for drug use and dealing etc, but at the end of the day. This is just a selling point for the proposed flats

What other areas need regeneration and improvement that the levelling up fund would have granted monies for?

Unfortunately I don't think there's much that can be done to save the high street. It's not like Canterbury that's full of students that don't have cars and lots of loan and free time to waste, as well as tourists.
Locals in Folkestone just drive to places with better shops, shop online. Or go down the harbour and old high street for more arty shops, cafés and restaurants.
All the main high street is, is a route to the old high street or Asda. So should probably just be made into a park with lots of plants and trees.

How windy do we think Bouverie Square will be? Everyone will be literally blown away! Just so whoever moves into the old Saga building has a nicer view. Maybe we should fix the bigger problems and wasted space before faffing up the roads around middleburg square and shellons street.

The Leas are windy, too. I reckon people round here have learned to live with it.

If Dover is an example of how to spend Levelling up money then do not bother. It has some fantasy ideas and the Maison Dieu being the recipient of most of the money but the Zelensky pothole just get bigger and better. As for the ‘car wash’ in the market square that was an example of how to spread a liberal amount of money to the ‘Brothers and their companies with nothing that improves the place.
